"Beautiful surroundings directly at the fjord. Cozy atmosphere around the folks at the hotel, the boss is very helpful and the country and western style goes perfectly with this part of Norway. Nothing negative. Everything is 'greit', as they say in Norway. Fine breakfast with lots of shrimps."

Transport via bus was excellent from nearby the hotel into Stavanger centre which was good as there are not many dining or local shopping opportunities in the area. Absolutely phenomenal breakfast choice - all included in price. Bus & train stations a 3 minute walk from hotel. Public transport is amazing in Stavanger - especially if you buy 24hr travel pass. We paid extra for a harbour view which was lovely but we could not open the window or sit on the shared balcony because our room was next to a smoking room and the guests there exercised their right to smoke.
