Minutes to lifts and casinos. Minutes to Heavenly Valley ski lifts! Beautiful home elegantly furnished. Rebuilt in 2009, home has great room on the upper level with open floor plan, gourmet kitchen, and wood burning fireplace. Granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, wine refrigerator, Limestone baths, WIFI, and upgrade cablevision. Great room leads to a large deck with gas BBQ, great views, and two sets of tables and chairs for outside dining. Gas log firepit (ceramic logs) in lower patio area for summer campfires. For your entertainment there is large Smart TV, Yamaha surround sound system and a pool table. Panoramic mountain views from the greatroom and adjoining large deck. Lower level has three bedrooms with two masters and a third bedroom with bunk beds (queen on bottom, full-size on upper). Ideal for two to three couples or one or two couples with children. Separate Laundry room with full size W/D. On the ground level, there is a large patio area with a gas fueled firepit, eight chairs, and a Picnic table for any meal. Located off the main road, the home is in a private location with great views of Heavenly Valley slopes. However it is less than five minutes to either Boulder or Stagecoach ski lodges. There is a kid's ski school at Boulder Lodge. There are children's plastic sleds and room to use them on the property depending on snowfall. The Casinos, movie theaters, elegant dining, shopping, grocery stores and golf are all within 5 to 10 minutes away. A small market, restaurant, and the world famous Charthouse are just 3 minutes away. Lots of off street parking and a single car garage. Boat launching, several of Tahoe's best public beaches, horseback riding stables, summer music concerts, and world famous Edgewood golf course are just minutes away. Hiking in the U.S forest is just around the corner. The instructions provided were detailed and we had no problem navigating use of amenities provided The cabin and deck provided wonderful views and we were able to relax out side or playing pool in the evenings. We loved how it was out far enough to be away from the traffic and people at South Shore, but close enough to easily get down to the lake and restuarants. ##### Robert C. It’s in a beautiful, quiet and breathtaking neighborhood and has all the amenities. We were snowed in during the massive storm this past MLK holiday weekend and enjoyed playing pool, watching football by the fire and cooking amazing meals. Mike is a great host with an amazing cabin. Beautiful home, complete with all the extras to make the stay enjoyable. Mike was easily reached by email for questions. I think it would be important to include in the post a comment regarding access to the property in snowy conditions. People come here from all over the world to ski at Tahoe. To get to the house you need 4 wheel drive with snow tires on all wheels and should have chains in the vehicle. ##### Richard N. The home was absolutely perfect for our family of five grown adults. The master bedroom and awesome shower were great and the other two bedrooms with a shared full bath were perfect. The upstairs is the highlight though. The kitchen is perfect for cooking and setting up a bar. The appliances are really nice to. There is a pool table and a sitting room that are just great. The deck off the kitchen overlooks the fire pit area and has great views of the mountains. This home will not disappoint so quit searching and book it now. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood and is a 5 min drive to Heavenly Village where there are casinos, restaurants and shopping. Many beaches and hiking trails within a 5-15min drive. The owner Mike was fantastic and his communication with us was prompt and he was very helpful with suggestions. Thanks Mike for a great family vacation! ##### Tim N. This cabin is really beautiful and cozy. We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend. There was a perfect snow hill for the kids to sled down. It's only a 10 minute drive to the casinos and shopping. The rooms are spacious. The beds have heated blankets on top and kept us warm through the night. The living room area is perfect for a family. The fireplace really gives off good heat. The kitchen is big and has everything to cook a Thanksgiving dinner. Overall a great cabin and we are definitely going to come back. ##### Kristy C. We have been friends for many years but not have been together for over 8 years. This home was perfect for our get together for the week! It was close enough to all the activities and venues - only about 10-15 minutes away. But far enough away that the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals with lots of room for us to prepare the food. The deck was perfect to enjoy coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening. The bedrooms we spacious and the beds were comfy. Mike is a great host and prompt at answering any questions we had. This was my first experience at renting a home for vacation.
