There is a shuttle stop right in front of the home so no need to drive anywhere. Either walk to the lift and the trails or take a shuttle to the casinos. It is the Perfect location....close to the action but lots of privacy and quiet. \*\* Local Tip: Our condo is located on the less crowed side of Heavenly...no long lines or crowds to deal with. \*\* Located just a few miles from casinos, shops, restaurants, etc. \*\* Just a few blocks walk to the popular Fox and Hound Restaurant which serves great breakfast, lunch and dinner. \*\* Because of the incredible views from this location (and it being Tahoe), there are a lot of stairs up to this residence--therefore, I would not recommend this property for anyone that needs wheel chair access or are physically challenged or not fit. The house was a short five minute walk to the lift. It was clean and nicely furnished. Everything was as advertised. It was within walking distance of the lifts, and the shuttle to get to other base lodges was close to the bottom of the stairs. Waking up to the sunrise every day (4 bluebird days in a row!) was a perfect way to start the morning, with an added bonus of a full moon rise one day. Spent three days at Lake Tahoe and this was a lovely, cozy spot. There are three good sized bedrooms with comfy beds. Fully-equipped kitchen is so nice in a rental. Lots of steps going up to unit (can’t remember if that’s listed in the description) so could be hard to get to for people with mobility issues. The location is ideal for anyone looking to ski Heavenly. The Stagecoach lodge and chairlift is a short 4-minute walk from the front door. There are restaurants and markets within walking distance. The cabin is cozy and clean. Nice kitchen and dining area. Great views from the reading nook and decks. Three big bedrooms and two nice bathrooms with showers. The downstairs bathroom has a big jacuzzi tub. There's plenty of storage for your wet ski equipment behind a locked door on the front deck. Overall, it is the perfect Tahoe experience. ##### Carey L. This is a wonderful place to explore Tahoe from. Close to Nevada Beach and also reasonably close to all the other great South Lake Tahoe attractions. The spa/hot tub was a plus and the main deck and private patios were great to hang out in. As with almost any place with a view in Tahoe you have to climb up the steps ( about 5-6 flights of stairs) which was a bit difficult for my parents. As mentioned in the other reviews we really enjoyed the sunrise as well. Overall a great place to stay at. ##### Supun D. This cabin worked out perfectly! Great location, walking distance to Heavenly Resort and ski lift. There are 2 restaurants and a general store within walking distance as well. Next to the general store, there is a perfect hill for sledding. There is a shuttle bus stop across the street from the cabin that is free and is only a 15-minute bus ride into South Lake Tahoe for all kinds of activities. The cabin is very cozy. The view from the patio decks across the valley is absolutely amazing. The indoor spa is just as spectacular as the pictures make it look; a perfect way to unwind after playing in the snow all day. The host, Jane, was awesome; very responsive and helpful on the VRBO app with all of our questions. The previous guests broke the coffee pot, and she ensured a new one was delivered the day of our arrival. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Jane! ##### Daniel K. It says ski in ski out but you just wouldn't . Over 50 stairs to the unit . Im glad I didn't have any elderly friends with me , it's a pain . The community hot tub is maybe 100 degrees , small , jets are bubbles . WiFi would have been nice but not happening . It's a nice comfortable place but quite a bit overpriced . There are big holes in the siding and wires hanging down the wall . We're contractors so we hate to see places that are in disrepair yet command a premium price .
