The cabin was pretty secluded, as no one was checked into the other two small cabins on the property and the only traffic going by was to access the nearby camping area. Across the road is a lovely clearing with fire pit and seating with the river just below. We'd go out hiking in the day and then the kids and dog would splash in the river after. Behind the property were tons of moss-covered boulders and we just hiked around back there for awhile as well. We will definitely book this one again. It's very close to the Slade exit and you can get to anywhere you need relatively quickly. ##### Stacie H. The wrap around porch was nice for evening conversations. I did not find a hose hook up anywhere on the Cabin, so I had to borrow the hose from a neighboring cabin to spray my dog off after he'd spent the day in the river. ##### Jennifer S.
