We decided to stay in Stanton and found this place at a pretty good rate per night. Check in process was easy. Overall the house was clean but did show wear and tear not visible in listing photos. Faint musty smell and dehumidifier ran not stop. I emptied the water from the dehumidifier 4 times from Thursday - Sunday. Small ant problem kitchen that were coming through the back door, not a big deal, I didn’t want to burden the owner so I bought ant spray which helped. Overall for the price it wasn’t that bad. Then Sunday it all went down hill. After checking out I got a message from the owner that he found pet hair on the couch. I told him we do have a dog at home but we did not bring her with us. However my daughter brought a blanket with her which is where the dog hair came from. The owner accused us of having a dog in the house then showed pictures of previous damage and demanded we pay to have it repainted.
