"A good budget stay very near Chichester. Bedrooms and bathrooms very clean, cooked breakfast delicious. The pub had a wonderful social feeling in the evenings with sea shantys being sung on the first night and a quiz the second. We recieved a warm welcome. "

"WiFi is awful! It’s just really poor but free so everyone is using a system not able to cope.Also, disabled parking spaces were blocked off with building work so parking was harder than it should have been. Breakfast was very good and staff in the restaurant each take a station and were really on it all the time so nothing ran empty and everything was hot and fresh and there were no delays. The pool was nice but the jacuzzi is colder than it should be and was fed with cold water."

"Our stay was very good overall. There were a few little niggles like the window wouldn’t open more than an inch and the bathroom sink was problematic. However, the room itself was lovely, comfortable bed, great coffee machine, quiet. Staff were very friendly. Food was good. I will stay again. "

"Shires Barn has everything thing for all ages to enjoy. The trampoline in the garden was a huge hit with the children as was the separate lounge for movie nights. Enjoyed having the Aga to cook on, great for large family meals. Plenty of room for the ‘cooks’ to move around in the kitchen area. Lots of parking. Lovely short walk by the river into the village."
