Other than that the furnishings were VERY outdated, table was wobbly, bathroom outdated, room is poorly lit, "TV" was a 26" monitor waaaayy across the room, etc. When you arrive you are immediately hit with rules - parking signs, then when you check in you have to sign a paper with a list of rules (and their associated fines). Inside the room are more rules. I love the very relaxed vibe that I get from being there. There are seats that are along the little creek that faces a small mountain. Great for viewing the antelope which seem to come every morning down to the water and graze in the field. I didn’t expect to have room service, but every day , the room was cleaned and fresh soap and shampoo was brought in. The beds were very comfortable and they have an outdoor patio area for folks to grill, if you are interested in that. The owners clearly take pride in the property. We followed the advice of other reviewers and requested a room on the second floor. The floors did seem a bit squeaky and I'm not sure we would have enjoyed our stay as much if we'd been on the ground floor.
