"Room was clean. You have to fill out a registration card online. I did this a week before our stay but the day before and the day of our stay, we kept getting notices that we needed to fill it out. Extrerior could use a little refresh but inside was nice, clean and updated."

"It’s an older cottage but it’s on a cliff with the most amazing views!!! It was very clean. Bring dish soap and dish rags to wash dishes and wipe off counters. Dan was awesome on everything . Beach is so close. Maybe 5 minutes to the sand. Campground nearby never bothered us at all. No seaweed. Smooth beautiful sand. I saw lots of starfish at low tide. The last night my husband put the trash in the recycling can not the bear proof one. At 2:00 am my dogs were barking. Guess what! Two bears. I’m so glad my husband put them in the wrong can. They didn’t stay long unfortunately. I will definitely go back!"

"Beautiful property and very nice ambiance.Staff was very helful,parking very easy.The dining options need work.The food is not very impressive.Some dishes were heavily salted and I am big on salt so if I think it’s salty then it’s really salty.There is not much in the area for dining so you are pretty much a captive audience."

"Had an amazing time at Shelter Cove! The house is beautiful, and the surroundings are even more incredible.The hosts have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable, from all the amenities in the house to detailed instructions and great recommendations for activities in the area. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and beautiful place to stay.The drive from Redway down to Shelter Cove can feel a little intimidating the first time, but it gets much easier after that. Totally worth the drive once you stay here. Looking forward to visiting again !"
