Property Manager was very responsive and provided some great local spots for shopping and dining. The resort is well kept and offers a couple of dining options. This location is about 20 minutes from the airport and downtown which is really nice and the view from the balconies are beautiful. Their beach is beautiful with comfortable seating options. The swim area is large and there is excellent snorkeling right there. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub most evenings. The views from the large decks are amazing. We love to sail and were able to join the St. Thomas Yacht Club located a few minutes away for 30 days. Spacious and comfortable for our family of 4\. Beach area was nice and quiet. Very close to Red Hook and ferry. In a good location on the island. Restaurants onsite were spendy, but convenient. Rent your snorkel gear here and take to other beaches with you. My son snorkeled and saw sleeping nurse sharks as well as many different types of fish. Had a sting ray swim by as we stood in the water, so you don't need to go far if you want to see aquatic wildlife! Lots of steps to beach area and restaurants, but you could also drive if steps are an issue. We rented a jeep for the week and would recommend that, as taxis or the island buses looked crowded. Was nice to jump in and go by ourselves. Definitely take the car ferry over to St John's to explore the beaches and the scenery. Alot quieter over there. The condo is spacious and very clean. The three decks are large and have comfortable seating and wonderful views. The snorkeling in Cowpet Bay is phenomenal. We were able to buy a 30-day membership at the St. Thomas Yacht Club just steps from our condo and enjoyed sailing a Hobie wave in the bay many times. The beach is long and the provided seating is comfortable. The water temperature is wonderful. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The resort has lovely grounds and two excellent restaurants. There are places to buy groceries. We especially liked CostULess which is about a 15-minute drive away. Stayed 3 nights in Jun 2022 This review comes from a trusted partner site and has not been verified. ### 10/10 Excellent #### Michael VanDieren 8 Jun 2022 #### Great Location/Complex/Condo for Families The location on the East End is great, and the Elysian is a very nice, updated complex in with a very good restaurant, beach, and pool. The updated (and very clean) condo was perfect for our family of six with the two updated bedroom/bath suites flanking each side of the center section, which had a nice kitchen, bathroom, and living area. We used the newer dryer for towels a few times. It is a large and unique layout. The three separate balconies were awesome with decent views of the beach/bay. The owner/host and Evolve were very helpful (particularly when we locked ourselves out of the condo -- a long story). The location was excellent and close to the Red Hook ferry as we went over to St. John for two days out of our week. We drove all over St. Thomas too and saw many pretty rundown complexes. We've done this a lot with our family over the years elsewhere in the Caribbean, Costa Rica, and most of the continental US. This was one of our best vacations ever and made even better because of where we stayed. ##### Michael VanDieren ### 10/10 Excellent #### Allea B. 3 Jun 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location, listing accuracy #### Beautiful inside and out The condo was bigger than we expected and having 3 bathrooms when 5 women are getting dressed was a bonus. The beds were comfortable and the hot water seemed to be endless. The view from the balconies was my favorite part for sure. The beach was nice but the rocks made it a little uncomfortable so we didn't enjoy the water there much but it's close enough to the other beaches we wanted to visit so not really a big deal. Definitely would stay here again. ##### Allea B. Lots of places in St. Thomas look pretty used or are not the best for families. The condo is outstanding for families. It is very large with 2 bedroom suites (each with a full bath) flanking the main room with a full kitchen area and another bath. The 3 separate balconies were great, and the unit had a nice view. The condo is nicely updated. The hosts were helpful. We loved the location for our first trip to USVI as we did 2 day trips with our car to St. John. We also explored St. Thomas extensively for our other 5 days. This ranks as one of our best trips ever as a family out of other places in the Caribbean, Costa Rica, and most of the continental US. ##### Michael V.
