Our house is called "Mas de la Pomme de Pin", the pine cone country house. It is located about 1.5 kilometers from the town of Noves, about 10 kilometers from Avignon in the north and from Saint Rémy de Provence in the south. The apartment situated on the first floor is approximately 40 m² and lovingly furnished. A large plot with shade-giving trees and the swimming pool (8x4m) is available to our guests. There is a large double bed (160 cm wide) and a wardrobe in the bedroom, another bed (140 cm wide) on the gallery above the living room, which is furnished with a dining table and 5 chairs, a couch and a satellite TV. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen, die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und lassen einen vollkommen in Ruhe, sind aber bei Bedarf jederzeit ansprechbar. Die Ferienwohnung ist ausreichend groß und enthält alles, was man braucht und sogar ein recht ordentlicher Mistral läßt sich prächtig überstehen. Leider war es dieses Mal zu kühl um den großen Garten mit riesiegen Bäumen wirklich genießen zu können. Wenn es bei uns zeitlich passt holen wir das bestimmt nach! De tuin is rustgevend en heerlijk om bij te komen. Het is echt een aanrader. Au contraire: Einen Hymnos anstimmen müsste man auf Familie Junglas, deren pittoresk-nonchalantes Mas de la Pommes de Pin, auf das mit ruhigem Puls gesegnete Village Noves und seine herzlichen Einwohner und natürlich auf die Alpilles und die Provence im Allgemeinen. Bevor nun aber die Sentimentalität und das Pathos sich anschicken, Überhand zu nehmen - ein paar lakonisch-persönliche Punkte: Als Kunst-Kultur-Kulinarik begeisterte Studenten durften wir eintauchen in ein bereits in der Luft fühlbares Lebensgefühl, das sich in fast berauschender Weise aus etwas zu speisen schien, das man am trefflichsten wohl als Sorglosigkeit bezeichnen könnte. Ein um sich greifendes Beruhigungsmittel und Stimulans zugleich, das beim Frühstück in der äußerst generösen (ich sage bewusst:) Beheimatung der Junglas' seinen Ausgang nahm, sich über den cézanneschen Tag verteilt einer Erschöpfung kapriziös zu verwehren wusste und gegen Abend dem petit noir glich, der nach einer der zahlreichen Kochkunstwerke von Natur und Menschen nach Verzehrung begehrte. Liebe Frau Junglas, lieber Herr Junglas: Wir danken für einen im besten Sinne surrealen Urlaub, den Sie durch Ihre niemals aufdringliche Anwesenheit, mehr noch Ihr stetes Erscheinen à point zu bereichern wussten. Doch was unsere Ergebenheit vom ersten Tage sicherte und wessen wir seither täglich andachtsvoll gedenken: die köstlichsten reine-claudes, die je zu essen wir das Glück hatten. Wir haben im letzten Jahr eine Woche bei Familie Junglas verbracht. Das Haus liegt trotz sehr Verkehrsanbindung ruhig gelegen in mitten von Obstplantagen. Innerhalb weniger Autominuten ist man im nahe gelegenen Avignon; aber auch andere Ziele in der nahen Umgebung sind optimal erreichbar. Noves selbst ist ebenso einen Besuch wert. Die Junglas' sind wirklich sehr gastfreundlich und zu jeder Zeit hilfsbereit und ansprechbar. Sie geben viele nützliche Tipps zu Reisezielen, Ausgehmöglichkeiten usw. Der große Garten lädt zum Sonnenbaden ein; in der Wohnung herrscht selbst bei hohen Außentemperaturen durch die Beschattung der Bäume ein angenehmes Klima. Ein Birnbaum am Kopfe des Grundstücks sorgt stets für die nötigen Vitamine ;) Wer das Glück hat wie wir, kommt auch einmal in den Genuss der hauseigenen Gemüseernte. Allen Kunstinteressierten sei es empfohlen, mal einen Einblick in die Werke des Herrn Junglas zu nehmen. Zu der Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes hatten wir die Möglichkeit, eine Ausstellung von ihm in Avignon zu besuchen und waren begeistert. Fazit: Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können einen Urlaub in dieser schönen Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. ##### Holger K. Die Zimmer sind groß, sauber, geplegt und bieten auch einer Familie ausreichenden Platz. Der Garten steht zur Nutzung offen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett, sind deutschsprachig und haben uns herzlich aufgenommen. Wir können die Wohnung ehrlich empfehlen. ##### Wolfgang K. Die im landesüblichen Stil eingerichtete Ferienwohnung hat uns auf den ersten Blick gefallen. Alle notwendigen Dingen des täglichen Lebens waren vorhanden. Die Kunstwerke an den Wänden geben der Wohnung einen besonderen Charme. Wir hatten das Glück, die Wohnung zur Südseite zu bewohnen. Aus deren Fenstern haben wir uns vom Spiel der Sonnenstrahlen verzaubern lassen, die durch das Blätterdach der prächtigen Platanen drangen. Der Ort Noves ist idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die nähere und weitere Umgebung. So kann man die Provence mit all ihrer Schönheit erkunden. Auch Fahrradtouren lohnen sich, obwohl die Wege nicht so gut ausgebaut sind, wie in Deutschland. Nach jedem Ausflug haben wir es uns in dem park ähnlich angelegten Garten unter Obstbäumen gemütlich gemacht und bei einem Glas Wein, Baguette und Käse die Abendsonne genossen. Wir haben wundervolle Tage erlebt und sind dem vermietenden Ehepaar immer noch sehr dankbar für ihre Hilfe, die sie uns nach einem Verkehrsunfall zuteil werden ließen. Wir haben die zwei mit ihrer freundlichen, humorvollen und hilfsbereiten Art sehr schätzen gelernt und werden sehr gern wiederkommen. Die ruhige Lage des kleinen Anwesens inmitten von Gärtnereien ist eine authentische Alternative zum üblichen Tourismusbetrieb, trotzdem sind die Sehenswürdigkeiten im Herzen der Provence gut zu erreichen, auch die Camargue. Die Wohnung ist gepflegt; die Kunstwerke des Vermieters verleihen ihr und natürlich dem Garten die besondere Note! Wir wurden sehr freundlich aufgenommen und die Hinweise der deutschen Vermieter waren hilfreich. Wir würden gerne wieder hinfahren! ##### Christina K. Eine wunderschöne gemütliche Ferienwohnung, ideal auch mit Kindern wegen einer Hochetage, und sehr hilfsbereite symphatische Gastgeber, die eine ungezwungene und familiäre Atmosphäre schaffen. Das Haus hat eine ideale Lage, so daß man in alle Richtungen dieser unglaublich sehenswerten Umgebung gute Verkehrsanbindungen hat und trotzdem im Grünen wohnt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!! ---
