"This is a pet friendly motel that has areas of it being remodeled. It backs up to a wooded area and Highway 90 is out front. Our room was small but very clean. No ac but we had a ceiling fan. Breakfast was the standard pastries, coffee, and yoghurt. The owner, Linda, was extremely friendly and helpful."

"We had a wonderful one night stay at The Brooks Hotel on our way to ride the Route of the Hiawatha the next morning. It is definitely an older hotel and the furnishing are not modern. However, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff were very accommodating and nice. We enjoyed the complimentary happy hour drink in the lounge and had a delicious hearty breakfast in the restaurant the next morning. I would definitely stay here again."

Silver Inn

10/10 Excellent
"The Silver Inn was better than we expected. Probably once a chain hotel, it has been well maintained, was clean and well run. Many of the hotels in along the Trail of the Couer d'Alene are VERY expensive and NOT in great shape. This was the opposite - great hotel for a fair price. Minimal breakfast, but that's fine with us. We'll be back!"
