Palm Suite at Casa Gia Condo direct beach front/ Pool & hot tub open! \*\*\*Beach Nourishing currently in effect, beach access might be blocked during the month of September and maybe October, please consult with booking agency or the Pinellas county site for more details\*\*\* Welcome to the Palm Suite! Equipped with smart TVs in every room, whole building water filtration system and free high speed internet, this suite boasts 2 queen size bedrooms, One bathroom with a tub/shower and a full kitchen, stocked with supplies, this suite also has a private full sized washer and dryer in the unit. A large balcony grants direct views or the Gulf of Mexico and overlooks the beach and outdoor area. Ample parking on site, including an assigned parking space. Located across the street from the best restaurant in town, Salt Rock Grill. There is also a Sunday market during season, directly across the street at Town Hall. Town Hall also offers free tennis courts, a children s park on the water and a library, all literally across the street! The pool and hot tub are open, hot tub is on a set timer to ensure it cycles properly and water doesn't evaporate. We ask that equipment is not touched during your stay. It turns on at 6pm until 10pm, no children under 12 allowed in hot tub, no exeptions. Glass not allowed in pool area. And just on a personal note, I pride myself on offering a rental that cleans WAY above and beyond our competition. I learned bedspreads are only mandated to be laundered twice a year. Did you just fall out of your chair? Grossest thing Ive ever heard. We wash ours each time. EACH TIME. Yes. You re welcome. So snuggle up with confidence, my friends. Note: Larger groups wanting to rent the entire building if you book individual units for the same visiting group of families or friends, we will need to cancel and rebook the building. The check-in process was stressful and the parking is a bit of a pain. My car was blocked in at several points throughout the stay. As the other reviews say, the beds are horrible. One room was stiff as a board and the other had me and my husband rolling into each other. If you know all this and want a beautiful view, this is a good spot. The unit is overall nice and very clean. Its updated and has a beautiful view of the ocean. The only "slight" things that would make it better would be: new mattresses. They are old and need updated. They're not comfortable and bent all weird. The outside of the building looks kind of rough up close,and leading up to the unit its the same, but once your in the unit its very nice. This was our first time in the area and was so glad my family and I got this place. Beautiful view, clean and the access to the beach was perfect! Minor things need to be worked on such as the hot tub didn't work properly. My husband took lots of time trying to figure it out. The lack of supplies in the rental lacked. 1 garbage bag, 1 washcloth, 1 dishcloth, dull knife, no soap. Beds were ok...one bed had bricks under it as the frame was broken. The shower was bad, no water pressure and very hard to adjust temp. The caulking needs to be touched up. So minor things that could be fixed would make this place Top Notch!! But the view, location, deck, beach, pool all made up for it for the price. ##### laura H. The unit was clean and had a personal elevator. The kitchen was lovely, but there were not enough forks or dinner glasses. There were only 3 beach towels and few bath towels. There is a gate on the balcony that restricts direct access to the pool and beach so we had to come and go through the front door. The beach was footsteps from the pool and beautiful. The bed closest to the entry, where the elevator opened, also housed the washer and dryer unit. The dryer took a very long time to dry (three or four cycles) The bed in the ack bedroom was horribly! It was like there was a hole in the middle, like sleeping in a hammockā€¦. We enjoyed our stay even if my husband slept on the couch because of the bed. Management was very slow to respond to questions if they responded at all and were very abrasive and even accused us of taking the extra keys (everything was left where we found it) after we explained this, there was no further contact at all, no apology or anything. I doubt I would consider staying again partly because of the lack of communication. ##### amanda a. The host never responded to my emails/text. Property was to have HOT tub, it did but 78 deg. Host never responded to us asking for directions on use. Couches were horrible, the cushions were old and worn out, ended up with back ache. Cushions on outdoor furniture even worse. Also the deck furniture was at deck rail height so you could not see " the View". The mattres in second bedroom could of held 20 gals of water in the hole in the middle of it. Daughter woke up with major neck ache. Kitchen was just equipped enough but no pizza cutter(essential equipment). In the checking out instructions they wanted us to clean the floors but both vacuums that were there were broke, so you had to try to sweep sand across a tile floor.(doesn't work well).Over all the view the view the view was nice. a little updating would go a very long way. The lack of communication was terrible. We left the place cleaner than it was when we arrived and did get our deposit back. The location was amazing; you really canā€™t beat being right there on the beach! View was superb and the host was very responsive and kind. The condo balcony was large and lovely to relax on and the condo, overall was exactly as described. Some of the PROS: 1\. Pool was clean and inviting and hot tub was a great temp for us. Pool floaties were in abundance. 2\. Great to be able to just walk right out on the beach; no crossing a road or anything. 3\. Condo was very clean and had ample Place to sit and eat either on the patio or inside. 4\. Garage parking was awesome. some CONS: 2\. There were no bowls in the kitchen, like for cereal nor were the baking sheets for the oven. The bowl thing was just kind of odd lol; my kids used coffee cups for their cereal. 3\. There was food left in the fridge from previous guests: annoying only because the check out time is strict apparently so cleaning lady has 6 hours to clean; but thereā€™s no way something obvious like that would be overlooked if someone actually spent 6 hours cleaning. 4\. There was a door connecting the 2 mid floor balconies; we woke up 1 morning and someone had come onto our balcony from the other suite. This was concerning because guests from that suite had very easy access to our balcony and that was a big safety issue for me. Host should put a dead bolt on their side. Plenty of space and amenities in a great location and grateful for their hard work to recover from the storms. Our unit had a fantastic patio with awesome view of the gulf. Itā€™s very quaint and intimate being only 3 units. While all the patios face the pool with great views, there are no time restrictions on pool use so it was disappointing to have kids playing after 10pm who didnā€™t quiet after requests made.
