"The Hotel is 98 years old and is still in remarkable condition. The rooms are a little dated, but still outstanding. The parking is good. The beach is outstanding and there is a lot of space so your really not on top of each other. The restaurants are amazing and not overcrowded at all. The only downside we encountered were the windows in the rooms don't open at all and there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom."

"We stayed at suite # 304. The room was not up to the standard of a suite. There was no work space or table and furniture appeared tired and outdated. The room was clean and well maintained every day. The staff was very helpful and honest. We dropped some cash at the pool. Staff made an effort to locate us and returned the cash. For that they need 5 stars."

"Was bummed at the resort fees in addition to have to pay to park after pay high nightly rates and resort fees. The resort is clean but showing its age. The door to our room had to be slammed shut and then was hard to open due to it sticking in the door frame. Same for our neighbors as we could hear their doors slam every time they closed them. Rooms need more outlets as most are already taken for lamps and appliances. It's hard for a family to charge their phones on the one available outlet in the room."
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Clearwater Beach

"The location is great. Walkable or they provided a golfcart shuttle to the beach 4 blocks away. They will also shuttle you to nearby restaurants. Friendly helpful staff. Only downfall is we upgraded to a water view room and the view was just a sliver out the window."
