Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa

"For what I paid I was not impressed. Stayed 3 nights never had maid service. One night we were out all day in Orlando came back no maid service and at midnight had to ask for clean towels. Downstairs beach bathroom had one stall with completely broken door jam preventing door from closing and locking. Outside Tiki bar was nice but the hotel has a big white shed in the middle of your view from the tables preventing u to see the ocean let alone the sunset. Was charged a Resort fee, but for what? I feel we were charged a daily Resort fee just for use of the pool. I had to pay $40 a day for parking. If I wanted a lounge chair, I had to pay for it if I wanted an outside cover by the beach, I had to pay over $100 for the day. I went down a little ways and walked to the Hyatt where they were only charging $60 for two chairs and an umbrella.. the upstairs restaurant bar and food were very very good. I will give you that. Overall for the price and what I overall paid for three nights ( Over $1,200) it wasn’t worth it. I could’ve stayed at any other place on the beach. I think Paris Hilton would be very upset if she stayed here. Think Twice"

"We enjoyed the pool. There were plenty of chairs around the pool. The pool had a walk inside for my six-year-old. The pool was large. The staff around the pool was very helpful and gave us ice cream. The kids enjoyed that. There was also a connect for and cornhole next to the pool on a field. The drinks were good. The hotel was walkable to the beach. We did not have to cross any streets. We were able to take towels from the hotel to the beach. There were third-party vendors on the beach to rent, umbrellas, chairs, or a cabana. The restaurants were good. We enjoyed the food and drink at the restaurants. There is a bridge that connects the sister property across the street. The hotel is walkable to Pier 60, but there are other hotels that are a little closer to Pier 60 like the Wyndham. There were also other restaurants that we could walk to."

"Truly amazing experience. Beautiful property, endless things to do, friendly staff, I could go on and on. They upgraded our room significantly and let us check in early. I'm looking forward to returning and would absolutely recommend"

"Horrible experience. You gotta pay $70 per room extra fyi when u check in. Resort fee and parking. So $700 for 1 night. No one would bring sheets and blankets. Or answer phone. I had to hunt down the sheet room and a person. The lady at desk was just on her phone not answering the phone nor did she put phone down when I went in. Ordered kids some fries… $7, had 10 small fries. The beach chairs I was told was in fees, nope another $70. Won’t return ever."

Sirata Beach Resort St Pete Beach

"Property was built in 1962 so you can expect an older beach town setting …. Although they have upgraded the rooms you still see have an old motel type of feel to it ….. the pools were dated and a lot of patch work easily seen…. The staff was amazing and very professional and friendly. Rum Runners bar and grill was surprisingly pretty good for bar beach food . Parking was $25 a day and theirs a $40 a day resort fee so don’t think all you’re paying for is the room price. I would give it overall 2.5-3 out of 5 stars…. Staff would get a 5 star rating."
