Weekend getaway

We stsyed here for a weekend getaway. The Inn was beautiful and so cosy. The bed in the KeyWest room was very comfortable. The only recommendation that I had was the continental breakfast could have been a bit better for the price. Otherwise it was a great stay.

The pictures on your site need to be updated. The current decor under new ownership is no where near that of the previous owners. I was shocked at how basic the furnishings were in comparison! The street appeal was not enticing. The property has such potential but currently it needs a lot of TLC!

Definitely not ready for prime time

Very much a budget-style hotel, with primo prices. Very disappointing, as not at all as advertised. Definitely unsuitable for business travel. Bathroom and shower is the tiniest I have ever seen (and I am from the UK!) No shelf or space for toiletries and the tile in mine was actually hanging off the wall. There is no business center, much less the 24-hour service advertised. The WiFi is very weak. The advertised "full breakfast" is a make-your-own coffee station and some packets of cereal (but no milk) and white bread for self-toasting, but this is only available for an hour. There was no cleaning service at all when I was there, and the staff member was only around for a couple of hours during the day, with no one there at night, which is disconcerting if you are coming in late. The bed was comfortable, but way too large for the tiny room, so that there was no room for bedside tables, and anything you might want to keep near you at night - glasses, water, phones, etc -- had to go on the floor.. Was told that it changed hands three months ago, and the new owner was in the process of renovating, but they seem to be doing it themselves and/or on a tight budget, and it's definitely not ready for business. Best thing about it is the location.

Booked a room with a jetted tub there was NO tub. Air system terrible, outside of room. After first night figured it out after freezing. Keys given to lock door did not work. Breakfast substandard. Place could be very beautiful but seems to have been neglected for a few years. Location is perfect. Innkeeper girl tried to help but saw no management resolve to issues. Do not typically leave reviews but buyer beware of this one

Was completly taken over by this B&B. It was absolutyl beautiful. Nestled in a lovely garden setting but yet directly accross from the park and right next to our faverit restaurant, 400 beach seafoot. Our room was very nice with a added sitting room. This allowed my wife to watch tv while i slept in. Breakfast was a dinning delight served by the inn keeper. My only cautions to future guests is all the rooms (only 6) are all on the second floor which require climbing a flight of stairs, there is no elevator. And the room had no closet or ability to hang up clothes. I would highly recommend a stay at this B&B. We will be back

50 yards from 400 beach restaurant. Fantastic food, drinks, service and price. 75 yards from Marina and waterfront walk. Great breakfast, quiet historic home. I will never stay anywhere but here when I'm in Saint Petersburg.

I was disappointed that it was not a true B&B . In the past B&B we stayed in had period furniture for the age of the house and the owners were very proud of that. The room we stayed in had a white cabinet (formica) to put your clothes in. Nails sticking out of the "wet bar" ..... Not very clean. We did not eat breakfast there but I did see muffins etc. in a pre-packaged pack. (not home made) Basically we paid for the location and parking which was great.

The property is very authentic and quaint however the shower dripped all night, the front room was too close to street noise, There was no oneto greet us when we got there. Our key was in an envelope with a welcome letter. We never saw a soul until breakfast. The frittata was luke warm and the variety of breakfast foods was less than in a regular motel. I was expecting more for the money. It was in a prime location close to everything.

It was a very charming bed and breakfast. It was right on the water and a 5-10 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants. No car needed to stay here! I also loved the way they had it set up for Christmas with the tree in the living room, the lights, etc. I really enjoyed my breakfast that was made just for me. I felt right at home, and so cozy!
