Shortly after arriving we quickly realized that the website pictures were quite misleading. Starting with the 1st two images of fisherman on the beach. There's no access to a beach at this location. The dining room door leading to the tiny patio, was 80-90% coated with what we don't know. Kitchen utensils were woefully poor or missing. Try using just a stainless steel pan to do morning eggs, vs a Teflon coated pan, then clean it. The image of the Rattan patio seat in the Living Room area should have been a clue to us. It was extremely uncomfortable. Hardwood slats supporting the 2" thick patio cushions. The property manager exchanged those 2" cushions with thicker "Deck Cushions" , but they very soon were also of no added relief. The TV was on a wall 8' in front of us, but elevated 6 feet, causing neck aggravation. There was only one lamp in any of the three bedrooms, and it had to be plugged in and out to turn it on and off, as the knob near the bulb was broken. The grill was a tiny charcoal grill, dirty inside and out, filled with charcoal ashes. Though there was charcoal left at the site, there was no grill lighter or brush. The beds had no box springs, and were supported with plywood. The pillows were all flat and needed to be replaced. The king size bed was on a queen size frame allosing the fitted sheets to come undone overnight. It had a manual gated entry, to be opened and closed routinely. Surrounding the backyard was construction debris alongside the Mangroves blocking any view of the water. The adjacent homes to the west of us were under renovations, with debris scattered all around them in plain view of the tiny patio. Work on these two homes could be heard intermittently throughout our abbreviated stay. Lawn chairs didn't have any seat cushions. We discovered a key to the dining area patio door tucked into a corner of the window sill.
We endured it all for 8 of 14 days, enjoying much of the surrounding sights, but regretting every night indoors, finding little to no comfort. We would appreciate seeing some sort of compensation from this site but don't hold much hope for that to happen. We have many pictures supporting our findings.
