The building and unit are definitely dated and could use some updates. Parking was very difficult with the construction and work taking place on the outside of the building. However, the two balconies on the unit, the ability to rent cabanas on the beach and the amazing views were great! The location is definitely what you pay for and it’s worth every penny. Many restaurants and things to do in close proximity.

Property location is good. Set up of having two rooms connected was nice. Quality of furnishings was mixed. Many things old and worn. Rooms could use updating. More attention to cleaning process (dishes and coffee pot dirty, etc).

Wonderful beach view from unit and balcony. Nice smaller beach . Plenty of cooking options if needed. Minor inconveniences: no hand soap, no hangers in closet, no wine bottle opener, only 1 wine glass Dining chairs are extremely heavy and don't slide well . Sliding doors need cleaning- poor visibility out of Unit 208, unless doors are open but it was too chilly .

It was just as pictured, close to the beach. Balcony is great for 2, a little too tight for 4 but we made it work. Kitchenette worked good for breakfast. There were some beach chairs, sand toys, and pool floats, which is always really nice to have included. Parking lot is small and gets filled up, it's just easier to park in their lot across the street. Pedestrian light crossing makes it super easy to get back and forth. The king bed on the one side was really comfortable.

Location was fantastic, loved the pool and the beach cabanas. The room was filthy, the floor was not cleaned, we started our trip by cleaning it ourselves, we couldn’t walk barefoot the way it was. There was sand on the couch, so that wasn’t cleaned either. And the sheets on one of beds were stained, so stained in fact that it was hard to believe they had been changed. We requested new sheets and the new sheets had some kind of crusty stain on them. The next set they sent up were clean. I’m very grateful that my sisters are such amazing ladies and we were able to enjoy ourselves anyway. Next year we will stay somewhere else

The best part of this part was the location and beach views. There were good amenities on site - a heated pool, laundry, parking (but limited on site). It was nice having 2 separate living spaces, but it felt more like adjoining hotel rooms than a condo. The unit itself was a little old, but still functional. It was nothing significant - the patio screen door was difficult to open; the cooktop didn't appear to work (but we didn't report it or take the time to figure it out, we were not cooking so it was not necessary), the bigger issue seemed to be a problem with the mattress having an indentation but the mgmt. company responded to it right away but I'm not sure it really resolved, but we made it work. It was a good place to stay with no major issues, but not frills either.

We were attending a gathering of 120 people. Most were staying in crowded, small rooms with 1 king or 2 double beds and one bathroom. This unit was 2 rooms with the adjoins door open. It was spacious enough for six adult women. Having 2 bathrooms was nice. The first bedroom had a full size refrigerator and a large table so we could all have our morning coffee together. Both rooms had patios facing the ocean. You can only enter through room 209, which meant disturbing anyone sleeping to get to the other room. It would be nice if the key unlocked both doors (208 & 209). A few basics missing would have been nice - wine glasses, plastic glasses & coffee filters. I plan on staying here again.

My husband and I traveled to TI over Thanksgiving to see family in the area. Knowing that it had just gotten hit pretty hard by Milton, we were pleasantly surprised with the amount of restaurants and shops that were open. The location of this property is amazing, and the beach is beautiful, but still being redone from the hurricane. Our unit itself had some issues. It is 2 units joined. In the one unit with the king size bed, the floor was either filthy or the tiles are delaminating, as you cannot walk on the floor barefoot or your feet will be black. So it either needs a good SCRUBBING, or replaced. The king size bed was incredibly uncomfortable and the mattress topper needs to be replaced. The 2 burner cook top never heated up that well (nor did the cooktop in the other unit). For instance it took me 40+ minutes to cook bacon. If you are not a family that cooks on vacation this may not be a big deal. The TV in the king size bed unit was adequate. Unfortunately in the other unit, which had a sofa and love seat, the TV was not a smart TV so you can only watch whatever limited cable it had. Which was unfortunate as that is the only comfy spot in the 2 units. One unit has a kitchen table with 4 chairs. I found the chairs to be uncomfortable, but they were adequate. The condo complex was nice, it's older, but has a nice pool and Tiki bar. Overall a great location. The hosts were very communicative and easy to work with. Love this area of Florida.

I have been staying at the Island Inn for 20 yrs now. I know what to expect. Each unit has its own décor and are not kept up the same. I was hoping from the pictures this unit would be a bit nicer. Unfortunately this was not the case. The bathrooms were filled with mildew and the both shower curtains were moldy. I washed both curtains and purchased bathroom cleaner to clean the bathroom. The ceiling in the shower was falling in and had black mildew. The floors were filthy and I swept a ton of sand from them. The bedding was old and frayed. The sheets did not fit the bed nor did the mattress fit the bed. The sliding glass doors to the balconies were filthy inside and out. The updated kitchen was nice but this unit is in need of freshening. The cleaning was gross. Under the beds and couches were giant dust bunnies and tons of sand. The mirrored doors to the closet are rusted and the mirrors were extremely smudged. Again, I have stayed at this property before and know it is not the Ritz but this unit is in need of a good scrubbing and updating. I truly had to purchase cleaning products and a mop just to be able to stay there.

Using the stairs on the 2nd day I literally slipped on the second floor landing because of spilled water and ice. I am lucky I didn't break my neck. I went to the front desk guy there & he said "Oh your arm is bleeding pretty bad". He then proceeded to give me 2 small band aids & 1 small alcohol wipe. I further stated that he should get someone to clean up the landing. A half hour later the water/ice was still there. I could easilly sue the Island Inn and still am debating whether to or not. Also, on the 2nd day I went to the on site Tiki Bar & ordered some food/drinks. Left my tab open leaving my credit card with the owner who was working the counter. I returned later signed my tab took my receipt & my blue Visa card that was under my receipt. I then proceeded with my girlfriend/her daughter walking to dinner. At the restaurant when I went to pay the tab & noticed the owner of the Tiki Bar at Island Inn gave me a very similar credit card back BUT it was someone else's visa. Thank God my girlfriend had an apple pay card that the restaurant accepted. So after dinner I went back to the Tiki Bar & the owner said "I hope you didn't use that card !?!" Of course I didn't, I was returning it. So then I went to my room and low & behold this woman owner left a note on my door several text messages and several voice messages demanding where was I & why did I take someone else's credit card. I will give the worst review I can about Island Inn, the Tiki Bar, I-Trips & Vrbo.

The location was perfect. The property was nice. The unit I stayed in was very dated and some of the appliances I couldn’t get to work or work very well. The stove does not heat up well at all and I never got the toaster oven to work.
