Description was misleading especially regarding proximity to downtown area. Actually several miles away. Arrived and had to leave due to overpowering smell from cleaning products used before our arrival. Gave us all headaches within 30 minutes of arrival. Called VRBO immediately and was under the impression they would handle the issue. They did nothing and I’m stuck with a rental I didn’t use and because the owner was never notified of the issue they refuse to refund any of the rent money. I will never use VRBO again.

That’s unfortunate your experience was not favorable. We are always aiming for our guests stay to be memorably pleasant by providing a nice, clean and comfortable home and ensuring that our guests can reach out to us at anytime for any questions or concerns. The house is located in a nice & quiet neighborhood, just 2 minutes from downtown Clearwater and 5 minutes scenic waterfront drive to Downtown Dunedin. It’s ideal for taking a short drive, a nice walk, biking or renting a golf cart. Pinellas trail is also 2 blocks away. We do not use overpowering cleaning product but we do our best to sanitize the rental between guests. Usually guest with fragrance sensitivity let us know in advance so the cleaning crew can use fragrance free products. Also we do use an ultraviolet sanitizing lamp that works great to remove germs & undesirable smell when needed. You and your friend mentioned only one of you had an headache but now it’s all of you! Nevertheless we were not aware of your issues, and your decision not to stay at the property since you did not contact us anytime during the entire length of your stay, nor responded to our messages. That’s almost a week. Only to request several hours pass check-out time a full refund while your reservation was never cancelled. Should we have known, we would have addressed the matter the best way possible, or issued a refund. Our guest experience and comfort are very important to us, but we do not entertain profanity, threatening and retaliation review.

A very homey craftsman house
The craftsman house we stayed in was really great. I felt very much at home just walking in through the front door. The home was warm and friendly and I felt like I belonged there . I looked up these homes and found they were built between 1900 and 1930. They are well built and this home has been well maintained. The host was wonderful. Their hospitality was very good and Communication was very good. Thanks very much Martine and Pete. My wife and I enjoyed it very much.

Quiet bungalow with charm
This was a quiet street with charming bungalows. We were attending a concert in downtown Clearwater, so the location provided quick and easy access to the downtown.

Great place in a great location
We stayed for over a month and the house location is great. We walked around the corner to the intercostal to watch the sunset. The Pinellas Trail is very close and we biked to Dunedin and Clearwater Beach. We sat on the front porch in the mornings and evenings enjoying all of the friendly passers-by. Very good communication with the owners, quick to respond.

perfect stay
wanted to enjoy the beach, perfect housing, close to the beach and downtown, well recommended. only little problem are the beds they were a little bit uncomfortable to sleep on, however since its not a resort or a hotel, one can ignore that...

Perfect location
Charming craftsman home, very clean and comfortable, short walk to bay where you can see the bridge that goes to Clearwater Beach. 10 min drive from beach, beware of traffic. You can walk to the beach 3.5miles. I would rent again, but would like to see the kitchen better stocked with cooking utensils, blender, etc. They had a lovely gift basket with wine and snack which was so appreciated. The propery manager was very quick to respond to any questions. This place is a little gem!

Cozy house for a perfect getaway
This was my first experience using Vrbo and it couldn't have gone smoother. Martine, the owner, was very accommodating and responsive to all of my questions. The house itself is extremely pleasant and comfortable while also being only a very short drive to Clearwater Beach or any other beach you'd like to visit in the area. The house has a very modern and up to date kitchen and bathroom to go with hardwood floors which made me and the 3 other guests feel right at home. Do not hesitate to book this house, it is perfect for short or long term getaway!

The Perfect Getaway
First off I want to say thank you for the hospitality. The house was in a great spot minutes from food, the beach and 25 minutes from Tampa. It was a very cute and clean house. Martine was an outstanding host and we will definitely be coming back soon. !!!!!!!!Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!
