The unit was steps away from the pool and grilling area which was very convenient. A short drive from grocery shopping in an area with little traffic. We walked around the neighborhood and to the grocery store and always felt very safe. Beach is about 5-10 minutes away and there are numerous restaurants and bars in that area. The kitchen was well stocked for our longer stay with plenty of pans, dishes and utensils. The owners were also generous in providing plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps, etc. to get us through our stay. Owners were also quick to respond to any questions via the Vrbo ap. The thermostat was a little confusing but the owners sent us a link with instructions which helped. St. Pete and Clearwater beaches are within easy driving distance. We tried to open it but we were pressing the wrong number so the lock got into "thief mode" ...that our mistake however the property manager told us it would be ready for the code to be typed in again but it never happened. We had to call the manager several times for about an hour & a half just for her to give us the code for a lock that had the physical key.
