The location was perfect, the accommodations were outstanding. The staff on property went above and beyond to assist, help in any way they could and they are friendliest people you meet in Florida. The only complaint I would have is in the unit we stayed in, only had three bar chairs for the Island to sit at. The two chairs and the couch in the living space is definitely for show and most definitely NOT for comfort or to just relax. Both balcony’s only had two chairs each as well.

We disclose all costs before guests finalize a booking and include in the ad what the charges are at check in. You came during the busiest time of year and everything in Florida is crowded and pictures of the pool are included in the ad as well.

This is a spectacular condo complex with first rate amenities. My only suggestion is to upgrade the coffee bar with more selections.

Wonderful Condo!!
Came in with my husband and another couple. The condo is in a perfect location. Walking distance to everything you need. The condo was extremely clean and well stocked. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downfalls, and in no way would I consider them a deal breaker on staying in this Penthouse again, but the second bedroom is extremely small. It does not have a window nor a closet. There is a huge walk in closet outside the bedroom. Even with that being said I would book to stay in this Penthouse again.

Location Location Location!
I typically do not write reviews but this two bedroom condo is so deserving of one! Location was within walking distance to everything but just far enough away from the busyness of downtown. I highly recommend this clean, spacious condo and will be back many times!

Avalon Hotel Penthouse
Great property, great location. Close to beach and short walk to restaurants and shopping. There were an additional $500 in fees at check-in for parking and ‘resort fee’ that were not explained in the posting. The walls are not very sound proof. We were kept awake 2 nights by a loud parties in the next unit.

Beautiful, but extra fees are a shocker
Beautiful property! The only thing that was disappointing was the fees that were not in the original rental amount. In addition, if you didn’t remember the fourth paragraph of the original description, it could be a massive surprise while checking in. We did receive a reminder email, but with travel I didn’t receive it until the day we were checking in. A reminder of these additional fees would have been helpful. Also, knowing that we couldn’t actually enjoy the deck with our own drinks/snacks would have been nice to know. Since they have a bar, with limited food, we were not permitted to bring our own. Knowing this information would have been more helpful for us, as a family, to enjoy a vacation without costly additions we weren’t expecting.

In regard to bringing food to the pool/deck area, no place that I am aware of allow guests to bring their own food. That goes without saying!

We absolutely loved staying at the Avalon. It was clean and modern. The location is fabulous—right on the beautiful beach and within walking distance of several delightful beach restaurants. We enjoyed the pool and the sundown champagne although next time we will stay later in the week since the bar is closed on Monday and Tuesday.

This property was all that it described in the listing and more. The property is VERY clean and well kept. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Everything was lovely. I read the description and looked at the pictures closely and was aware of the balcony location. Those who reviewed negatively didn’t read!! It is literally steps from the unit and has a lovely view of the beach and gulf. The unit is beautifully decorated, very well stocked and spacious. Parking on site is a major plus. The beach toys, chairs and umbrellas are a wonderful extra! Thanks to the amazing staff at this site, truly a wonderful experience for our family.

Beautiful property and so close to the beach. Only downside is thought we had a side view of the gulf but it wasn’t hooked to the room. Staff was amazing and the building and room was very clean.

Clean and comfortable place to stay!
Condo had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable! The detached balcony did not get utilized so while our harbor view was still beautiful, it was not exactly what we had expected for ocean views. That said, there were so many amenities and pluses to the property and the condo that we give this 5 stars through and through! Thanks!

This hotel is beautiful and very clean. Everything in our room was perfect and well-appointed. We didn’t get to use the pool due to weather or the gym due to timing but they looked nice. The receptionist was quite possibly the friendliest person I’ve ever met. We enjoyed the coffee and hot chocolate on the 2nd floor lounge. Location in Clearwater was convenient, and steps away from the beach. The only negative was acoustics, it is easy to hear everyone on your floor. We would definitely return!

Clearwater beach was fabulous as was the condo. The building is new built in 2021 and the layout of the condo is great. Front desk is very helpful and friendly. Would stay there again. Only negatives are because their is a front desk, the owners do not communicate a check in protocol and while responsive, they refer you to the front desk.

Wonderful Clearwater Beach
Our Condo at Avalon Club Resort was great!! Beautiful property with the most attentive and friendly Staff!! Property was ocean front and beautifully decorated. Such a plus to have Beach chairs, umbrellas and towels available for free for guests use. We drove from North Carolina but never needed our car until we drove home. . Lots of great Restaurants and Shops within a short walk. And the Jolly Trolly was another great service!! We had a balcony that overlooked the Intercostal waterway and a private Balcony on the side of the condo that had a great view of the ocean. Kitchen was nicely stocked with all the necessities including Keurig Coffee maker and ice maker in fridge. Very spacious 2 Bedroom, 2 bath condo. The only negative, and I do mean ONLY was there were 4 adults in our condo and both of our balconies only had 2 chairs. It would have been nice for all 4 of us to sit on the balcony together and enjoy our morning coffee or evening cocktails. I can highly recommend this beautiful property. And the beach was magnificent!!

Perfect location and place to stay in Clearwater!
I booked this VRBO for my family. Easy to drive to, from the airport. You can literally walk to the beach in a minute, and also all the bars/ shops and restaurants/ marina are within a mile. Great location. Upon walking in, the front desk was welcoming and helpful. They offer beach chairs/ umbrellas , so you're never going to worry about reserving a chair. Was able to park in the garage directly below for a daily fee. The front desk provides additional laundry detergent/ coffee / towels. They literally make your stay effortless. The beach pool bar had great drinks and the water in pool was perfect temp. Our stay was great and I would go back. There wasn't one detail that was left out (down to the incredible scent that they must pipe into the lobby). Loved this VRBO.

Girls Weekend
This was the perfect place for our group of four to relax and unwind for a couple of days. Steps from the beach, bars and restaurants, this was the perfect location. The condo was spacious and the views from our private balcony were spectacular! The staff was welcoming, friendly and accommodating throughout our entire stay. We commented many times how clean everything was. Can’t wait to venture back again…we will definitely be visiting again soon!

Great property. Nice amenities.
4 adult stay for 5 nights. Highly recommend property. Condo was very nice and well equipped. Keurig (with supplies), paper products (replaced by property management when needed), laundry detergent and shampoo and body wash dispensers in showers. Very clean and well managed. Property management on site. Replaced towels quickly. Several nice resort amenities including coffee bar on 2nd floor. Beach chairs, umbrellas and towels always available. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Best ever!!!!
First time to clearwater for a business trip and some personal time too. Wanted to be close to shops/restaurants and also on the beach. This IS IT! I'm already planning my next trip and there's no where else I would stay. Literally 15 steps to beach entrance (foot shower right there too) and 15 steps to best local bar/grill.
