Art Boutique Hotel Monopol

Art Boutique Hotel Monopol

10/10 Excellent
"Booked a room through Expedia. At the desk I was informed that we were being upgraded to a junior suite because of my association with Expedia. Beautiful room in that the beds were comfortable, had a separate small area for a couch, separate walk-in closet and bathroom. Picked the hotel in part because the bathroom had solid walls (not glass, which wakes your partner/spouse up if you visit the facilities at night) as well as a light switch INSIDE the bathroom. Moderate price for St.Moritz. I would stay there again."

Hauser Hotel St. Moritz

Hauser Hotel St. Moritz

8/10 Good
"Very friendly and helpful English speaking staff. Well maintained and clean. Lot of wood and smells great. Room was spacious. Lots of shelving. Balcony was large and had nice breeze. Enjoyed sitting outside to enjoy the view. Bed was ok but the pillows were too soft. Also the sofa bed had a middle fold that can be felt through the mattress. The bathroom was small but bright. Not a big fan of half glass shower door. Wish it had hair conditioner. The restaurant had very friendly staff and good food. Reasonably priced with good portion. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Not a big spread and plenty to enjoy."

Hotel Arte

Hotel Arte

10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel, very friendly staff, convenient location with a restaurant just below (great food). The bus is easy to take from the train station and then it’s a short walk. Note, Google Maps will take you to a very steep staircase to reach the hotel but you can also follow the road to the right and go left around the bend (slightly uphill). Note there is no phone in the room and nobody at reception after 8 pm. Breakfast was in the restaurant below - nice spread of cheese, yogurt, fruits, muesli, eggs, croissants, breads (but no toaster) and more!"

"Very charming… love the location… it was rustic which I felt was the very vibe we wanted in a mountain stay… I highly recommend and will definitely be back. Shoutout to the front desk lady -sorry I forgot her name - she is originally from the Philippines- excellent customer service, very respectful, polite and hospitable and friendly…even gave us tips on how to Maximize our stay in Montreux.-from restaurant suggestions, activities (Diavolezza), timing for Bernina line stops to take… Lovely lovely quiet peaceful ambience with a view of the lake toward the back of the hotel"

Hotel Waldhaus am See

Hotel Waldhaus am See

8/10 Good
"Overall, this is a lovely property and the staff was very friendly and attentive. However, I was disappointed that all of the tables at the windows were reserved for breakfast. It is an included buffet and yet it was not possible to sit at the windows. I sat down, ate a leisurely breakfast and not one of the reserved tables were used. If you are going to allow reservations, you should require a time of arrival. I also had issues with my shower and it flooded the bathroom and flowed into the room. I don’t take long showers and turn the water off while soaping up and it still flooded. The room was adequate but very small so the flooding really made an impact. The hotel has beautiful views of the lake and is easy to access the town are. Overall, a decent property. I assume the cost was all about the location. Not sure I would book again."
