"One of and handful of hotels in Sitka. The room was clean, comfortable, and somewhat dated. It is expensive for what is offered but all of Alaska is. My only issue was that the room was supposed to come with breakfast. They had in room coffee but that’s it. "

"We were fortunate enough to have some sunshiney days on our visit. Sitka was spectacular and easy to explore on your own, renting a bike to get to hikes… no rental car needed. "We arived in the middle of the night and check in was easy. The neighborhood was quiet so we could sleep in the next morning. The apartment was comfy and well furnished. We could easily walk the 15 to 17 minutes it took to get to downtown Sitka.We enjoyed the historic park full of totem poles; and the BEAK restauramt was fanbulous! It was a nice prelude to the small ship cruise the next day."

Even with dreary weather during our visit we were able to enjoy the tide pools in the backyard and sip coffee watching the boats cruise in front of Mt. Edgecumbe.
