Great location and really comfy beds!
This place was perfect for my family of 4. We went to Cumberland island and it’s within walking distance of the ferry. We were also able to walk to a few restaurants for dinner and breakfast. The beds are so comfortable! We loved it!

Perfect location
This home is so close to the ferry terminal to Cumberland Island. Walking distance to restaurants and shops is the quaint town of St. Marys. Perfect home for small families and adequately equipped with everything we needed.

Seashore Getaway
The location is stellar. A short walk to restaurants and shops as well as the ferry to the island and the park. The house is comfortably furnished and clean. All aspects of the house are functional although some updates would be nice.

Sweet St. Mary's cottage
A fabulous location cottage for walking everywhere in downtown St. Mary's for restaurants and sites. The best part is sitting on the back screened in porch drinking coffee in the am listening to the sweet sounds of all the birds. Loved it! Thank you.

Cumberland island trip
This property is older but well loved. The proximity to St Mary’s waterfront is excellent and it’s a very short walk to where you board the Cumberland Queen II ferry. AC works fabulously!! We had to wrap up in blankets!

Our Sweet Spot
My wife and I have stayed here twice and really love it! It is so close to everything we didn't have use our car. It was quite and very relaxing. We appreciate that the host was so helpful and friendly to us. We will be back next year for sure.

Great Location
Cute little place with a great location, the bikes are a big plus to do some exploring with. Restaurants in easy walking distance, and a free public boat ramp across the street that isn't the least bit crowded.

St Marys Cottage
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the sweet spot. The cottage was adorable and a very convenient location to the ferry to Cumberland Island. Our little boy said it was the best vacation EVER. He enjoyed going on walks by the water every morning snd evening. We got to fish and see a concert in the park across the street. Tiffany was wonderful and got back to me quickly. I would definitely book with these amazing people again. I love the N. Ga mountains, but this was by far the most relaxing getaway I’ve had. Our pup was happy as well with the fenced in yard and meeting other dogs on our walks and the attention from locals and other vacationers. Can’t go wrong with an I've cream shop within walking distance.

Sweet spot
Great location it’s a cute house. I enjoyed having the bikes and all the kitchen stuff already there when we arrived. It needs to be painted and small repairs made. Double bed on bunk beds needs to be replaced it’s worn out. The house has been neglected as far as updates and landscaping. We still enjoyed our stay just wish I could buy it and give it a makeover.

Great place, best location
Everything was great but in particular the location across from the ferry was perfect. My young son and I were able to have an overnight adventure on the island while my sister and brother-in-law stayed and enjoyed St Mary after a day trip to the island with us.

Location was perfect
Close enough to walk to Main Street and the River but quiet also. We grilled and chilled arrival night. Cumberland island visit the next day with bikes and picnic lunch. The cottage was just big enough for the three of us. I’d stay again.

Perfect Location
This home is walking distance to EVERYTHING. The king size bed was very comfortable after a loooong day on Cumberland Island. I can't remember when I've slept better. The home is adorable and is just as advertised. The back yard is completely fenced and perfect for our dog. I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing Sweeter than the Sweet Spot
The Sweet Spot surely is exactly as advertised. It's tucked away, yet right at the waterfront. Walking distance to several bars and restaurants as well as the Cumberland Island visitor's center where you can ride the ferry over to the National Seashore for the day. The Spot has all the amenities you'd need and it's an awesome little home away from home. We used the grill out back often and the screened in back porch was great for both morning coffee and evening drink. Will definitely consider this Spot again when we return as Saint Marys is one of my favorite towns to spend time in.

Perfect vacation

Check in was easy. Cute cottage - if you've ever wondered what it would be like to stay in a tiny house, try this cottage! Walking distance to small town - gift shops, restaurants, and theCumberland Island ferry (Do go to the island and take the van tour.) Cottage is right by ferry parking lot but it isn't noisy at all.

Location plus Communication
I have just completed a four month stay at “the Sweetspot” and it was enjoyable for several major reasons. First, it really is a “sweet” place to stay. Being right in the middle of the St Marys downtown historic district and directly across from the very nice waterfront park with great walking paths on the water and boat ramps, it was everything I wanted and hoped it would be when I decided to escape the North country winter this year. I also trailered a small boat which I was able to park right on the property and easily put in the water to enjoy some nice fishing and boating. So, the overall experience for me was sweet and the bed was very comfortable. However, when you decide to stay somewhere for an extended period of time, like being at your own home, there is a good chance that things can go wrong and unlike being at your own home, you are at the mercy of your host. In this case Tiffany. Things did happen. First, and probably most important to me, was the internet. The internet was there, installed and working and for most people it would have been more then sufficient. However, in my case, I was receiving some long, complex documents and I really could have benefited from it being faster. Remarkably, all I needed to do was mention it to Tiffany and by the next morning the internet provider was there installing a new fiber optic line with the most speedy internet known to man. The property was clean when I moved in but since I was going to be there for months I wanted it to be cleaned regularly and Tiffany arranged to have a cleaning person there every two weeks. When I had a mechanical problem with my boat, I called Tiffany and she helped me find someone to repair the issue. The washing machine stopped working and the very next morning a new one was installed. We had a very big rain and wind storm that blew some of the shingles off and caused a rain leak. The next day a roofer did the repairs. Yes, I did expect the management to respond when there was a problem but Tiffany’s responses were instantaneous and better then the consierge service at the Waldorf. That is not to mention the several lovely and delicious meals she dropped off on occasion. All of her actions were way above and beyond what would be expected and, frankly, what would have been required. The property is the “sweetspot” but Tiffany was responsible for making the stay better then I could have ever expected.

Great location!
We found the cottage to be exactly as described. It was small but plenty of room for the two of us and our dogs. We loved being able to walk the dogs down to the park to watch the sunset. We also enjoyed the seafood festival.

Anniversary getaway
This home is lovely in every way! It’s clean, plenty of kitchen supplies, and the communication with the property manager was clear and easy! The location is about as awesome as one can get in St Marys. We walked everywhere. Although it was just my husband and I, we would certainly visit this home again with our three children. Plenty of room for 5 people.

Perfect retreat!
My husband and I stayed here for a retreat away from our kiddos. It was so comfortable and inviting - and convenient to downtown St. Mary's. The bed was very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this VRBO for couples - but it would be great for smaller families, as well!

Great little house
Great little house and great location! So convenient if your going to Cumberland Island, which we did. Enjoyed walking to restaurants and shops, and loved the beautiful park! Also loved that there is a water park minutes away! We appreciated that house was very clean, although overkill on the cleaning solution, as I could smell it strongly for 3 days. King bed was very comfortable, but I wish there were better window treatments. Sun woke us up at 6 a.m. everyday. I had to hang sheets and towels over them. Love the fenced in back yard for the dogs and our grandson! Would love to come back with another couple, but bunk bed is an issue. I would suggest another king in there to accommodate couples. Suggestions come from working with rentals for over 20 years in Big Canoe, GA. Overall, it was a great place to stay and enjoy St.Mary's! Thanks for the stay!

We were very pleased with the cleaness if the property.There was plenty of room and the beds were comfortable. It was a great location to the Cumberland Island ferry.
