"Room was a bit dated but spotless, the staff excellent, fabulous location and views. Only drawback was the beach had suffered storm erosion and it and the beach bar was closed. Jetty park and beautiful beaches very close by. The restaurant, a separate attached business, was always hopping with great food and extensive bar with excellent staff. I expect to return many times. "

Feel we did not get near what we paid for. Our view was dump trucks and dozers all day everyday. We paid $2,076.00 for 5 nights of this. Could not wait to come back home. Total rip off........."

"Room was clean enough, but some built-up grime was visible on the textured bathroom tile. The renovations that have been completed were nice (room flooring and furniture), but there is still work to be done. Old dirty hall carpets were actively being replaced during our stay. No regular coffee on our first morning, but that was remedied for the remaining mornings. Bed was comfortable, but the jiggly-jello part made it hard to sleep if your partner moved. Ask for extra pillows. Beach and pier were clean and relaxing. Pool was clean as well. Overall, I'd stay here again - especially if the renovation improvements continue."

Very convenient with the pool in the back and the beach/playground right down the street, especially if staying with younger children. "Absolutely horrible cottage. Was 100% misrepresented by VRBO. 40 degrees when we arrived to no electricity! No insulation anywhere! Owners do not live near property & took 2 hours to get electricity turned on. 2 tiny space heaters ineffective. Largest window could NOT be closed. Filthy floors throughout. Kitchen light did not work, owner took 3 days to leave new light bulbs at our door. We had to buy a useable frying pan to cook with. Kitchen sink drained onto the ground outside rather than into a pipe. Living room couch in terrible condition. We could go on & on with complaints, how terribly this entire property of 15 cottages are being managed - 14 couples who previously filled all cottages during winter to be together no longer rent at this property due to the lack of reasonable amount of improvements & even basic management. My wife has a lengthy and more detailed list of unnecessary problems we faced. Who can we speak to about false and misleading advertising??? We feel at least a 33% reimbursement would be appropriate!!!"

"Host was fine and easy to contact. The cleanliness of the property was definitely lacking. The cottages are older Florida construction and the three stars are because they are obviously trying but definitely have a ways to go yet. Torn screens and many gaps in the windows allowed the famous Florida insects easy ingress. The dock is new and very nice a perfect place to enjoy wildlife, we saw manatees, sea turtles, countless bird species and dolphins playing in the area was a daily occurrence.The kitchen was not well stocked, the pots and pans definitely on the older worn out side. The bed was very comfortable."
