Only a 2 block walk from Forest Park & its Metrolink train stop, your group will have access to everything the city has to offer. This 100 year-old historic home is only blocks from Forest Park, the site of the 1904 World's Fair Exposition and 1904 Summer Olympics. Unload your car then collapse on the wrap-around couch for an evening of movies on our Roko TV. Enjoy a quiet night sleep (kids have their own room). Wake rested, roll out of your king-sized bed, & brew a cup of joe before heading out to explore the Lou. "Suites in the Lou" offers 6 private short term rental suites in one building - great for a large group which may want to all stay in one place. Walkable to Forest Park, the Metrolink train stop, the Delmar Loop, restaurants, and shopping. Quick & Easy access (via Metrolink) to the Arch, Busch Stadium, the Enterprise Center, St. Louis Aquarium, City Museum, Union Station, St. Louis City Soccer, Lambert Airport, and more. Need to get around town? Metrolink, buses and quick access to Forest Park Parkway and I-170 makes it easy. A Metrolink station is conveniently located in DeBaliviere Place. You can hop on the Skinker/DeBaliviere stop and head all the way to the Lambert International Airport or right downtown. We're proud that our neighborhood boasts excellent public transit. The only drawbacks were the heat (top floor and probably some of the hottest days of the summer meant the A/C couldn't keep up) and the basement laundry. We really enjoyed our stay in this 100+ year old walk-up. The unit is on the top floor in the back, one of six units, but we were never bothered by other residents. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet. The unit was as pictured. We appreciated the clear instructions for check-up and departure. The windows had screens and worked well (good for the shoulder season between hot and cold temps). We appreciated the host leaving a few days worth of coffee, paper goods and dish washing supplies in addition to linens and towels. The WiFi was strong enough 98% of the time. There were some extras in the kitchen that were helpful: coffee, cream, sugar packets, spices. Beds were very comfortable. Love having three beds in one room for our 3 kids. Floors were very creaky in hallway. Furnace was loud when it kicked on. ##### Katie B. We could have used enough coffee to make some each morning of our stay, but I also didn’t ask for more, so that’s partially on me. The parking situation was a tad frustrating but that wasn’t Libby’s fault. She communicated all she could with us. The location is great. No more than 15 minutes from tourist spots!
