The kitchen was large and well-stocked with all the cookware and dining ware we needed for 10 adults. The beds were very comfortable and cozy. We really liked having 4 bathrooms so there were no lines! The neighborhood has buildings in various stages of remodeling and repair, and we felt safe taking walks in the morning. We are aware that renting a historic building in a historic neighborhood means that there will be some quirks, but this building had the things we needed the most for a successful family reunion. We learned a lot about the historic row homes in the museum under the Arch and it was cool to stay in one. From the outside the home has retained its historical integrity yet when you walk inside you are amazed at how it has been updated. The fireplaces that remain in the various rooms add character. The bathrooms are very nice and the kitchen worked out very well with our family of 8 that was staying there. The beds were comfortable and there was very adequate seating in the living room for watching movies, etc. The back parking pad off the alley fit our two Chrysler Pacificas well although it is tight backing in to the spaces in the narrow alley but that is part of the historical neighborhood. I did give a reduced rating on the neighborhood because there were some concerns at night but we remained safe and our cars were not bothered outside. There were some minor issues that we addressed with Vance when we moved in and he was very quick to remedy them which we appreciated. Location was perfect for getting to campus and going out for several great meals in various areas. Easy access to everything.The living space and bedrooms are large and comfortable.
