This shouldn't be in the Hamptonn Inn Family. It was filthy, our bathroom was ant infested, the furnace wouldn't shut off, the bed was horrible to sleep on.
Don't stay here.
The service was supreme, both at check-in and at breakfast. The breakfast was way better than expected with well cooked scrambled eggs and well cooked sausage. plus all the other normal things, but better than normal condition.
The hotel isn't the most comfortable and the furniture while clean wasn't in perfect shape. A easy chair to sit in for guests would be welcome - not a ladder back chair like you eat at a dinner table.

When we first checked in to our hotel room the lock was broken on the door, we got switched to another room just to find out that there was leftover Applebees food containers. And to top it off when we were outside some guy who was traveling for work said, hey I would move your truck because there isn’t cameras where you’re parked and I know this cause mine got broken into and they stole a lot of my tools and equipment.
It was close to the Missouri Theater where we attended a concert. This is an older property, but work to upgrade it shows. Parking was a little crowded especially coming back from the theater late.

We stayed here for a wedding. It was ridiculously overpriced. They didn't have the room we reserved and offered little apology other than "We overbooked, so we only have a queen room left instead of a king". The breakfast wasn't anything special. We only encountered one employee the two days we were there who was friendly and helpful. The room itself was fine, but should have been about half the price they charge.
Hotel was fine. Had to wait to check in because Travelocity hadn't completed the transaction even though it had been over 2 and 1/2 hours since it was made.
Was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast bar offerings. Attractive set up, lots of choices including "hot" breakfast. Shout out to staff who set that up every morning. They thought of everything. Overall, staff very welcoming and accommodating. Will definitely stay there the next time we're in St. Joseph.

Not so good, shower was something i would not bath my children in, toilet seat was broken, bed caused my husband and I have back problems as it caused you to lean toward the middle
On a plus side, there are plenty of plug ins for technology, had quite a bit of space in the king room.

Hotel is getting to be outdated. Still nice, but could use some new paint and carpet throughout. Stains all over the carpet in rooms and in the halls. Rooms have an interesting smell from the A/C. Wasn’t bad, but just smelled weird. Digital key didn’t work the entire stay.

Average Hampton Inn property. During check-in I indicated I had an RV. The check-in staff indicated I needed to park the RV in an adjacent property. I parked the RV as requested upon returning from dinner. There was another RV parked on the hotel property where I had requested parking. Why were they not required to park off property also?
