Great for family trip. Included out neighbors family for our annual snowmobile trip. Enjoyed plenty of room in the great room for everyone to have a wonderful time. Lots of parking for cars and snowmobiles. Beds were excellent and plentiful. Would definitely stay here again!!
The place was a Wonderful cabin for our family getaway! We enjoyed being by the lake, and seeing lots of deer. The cabin was very clean, & the beds were comfortable..
Great property to stay at. Large home, plenty of beds, clean and cozy. Great kitchen to prepare meals in. Nice dock for lake access and a nice fire pit area to enjoy. Local wildlife are also very friendly as is the property hosts. Thanks for the enjoyable stay!
The perfect housee in a perfect area. We all loved this place and highly recommend to anyone.. we are definitely going to mark this as a favorite. Thankyou for alowing us to share your property.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay! Wonderful home and great location - beautiful view of the lake. Appreciated all the water toys and overall amenities. We would like to come back.
We really enjoyed the property. It was easy to get to all the places we wanted to go. The deer visiting each day made the kids day. The entire house was well maintained and clean.
Great property for a family of all ages. Kayaks, paddle boards, lily pad enabled water sports for every age. Clean, comfortable, everything we needed in the kitchen.
Beautiful home & property on gorgeous lake. Lots of great amenities, mainly summer time water fun.We visited at the peak of Fall and the colors, absolutely stunning. Best biking in WI on the Vilas paved trail.
We had a wonderful stay for an ice fishing weekend. The house is beautiful with ample room for everyone. Large kitchen made meals easy and the huge dining room table was perfect to all gather around. There are fun games and puzzles available, ( challenge for the next guests…we did the NYC puzzle in 1 hour, 2 minutes). Our host, Miranda, communicated excellently! Top notch!
Nicely secluded cabin. We enjoyed being visited by deer each day. Our kids loved the SUPs and kayaks. The host was super responsive and helpful. Main drawback is that the cabin is quite far from the water and the only lake views are from two of the bedrooms.
We came for our yearly snowmobile trip
This year there was no snow.
The house was very nice and we had a great time hanging out playing games and just relaxing
We would stay here again for sure!
We returned for a third year, and once again enjoyed our visit to Little St. Germain! The home came with all we needed for our multi-family vacation, and any questions we had were quickly resolved by management. We especially loved the kayaks/stand up paddle boards, large table for playing games, and the fully stocked kitchen. We were visited by deer, able to access the bike paths safely from the cabin, played pickleball at a nearby court, and enjoyed visits to the local ice cream shop.
Our family (11 of us) each year get together for a vacation in the Northwoods. Our ages range from 2 to 65. Finding a home to accomadate us is always a challenge but the challenge was met by this home. A beautiful and clean home awaited us. Along with any appliance and utensil we could use our hosts also supplied us with numerous games to keep us occupied when we were not on the lake.
Speaking of the lake the beach area was perfect for all of us and the water toys (paddle boards, kayaks, etc.) were heavily used. The firewood provided was ample for having nightly campfires topped of with smores.
In summary the home was everythign we had hoped for and more. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. You will not be disappointed.
Weather was a little chilly with icy paths, so we spent most of our time indoors enjoying the fireplace (plenty of firewood available), catching up on TV shows, playing games and fixing meals in the amazing kitchen. It was very clean. Just a few minor issues with the switches for the ceiling fan and lights above the TV not working, but that didn't take away from our enjoyable time at the cabin. We took a few trips up the unique spiral staircase to check out the air hockey table. We thought it was a bit unusual that the main windows faced the woods instead of the lake, but it did give a good view of the three deer that visited us later in the day. We also did some day trips to several of the small towns close by, most within a half hour or so. We noticed this cabin is now for sale. We hope the future owners continue to make this beautiful cabin available for future vacation renters. Thank You! - Tom & Jan
This house was perfect for our family weekend getaway! There were 9 adults and one pre-teen and we had plenty of room - no one felt crowded or cramped, there were plenty of bathrooms to suit us all, and the kitchen table was large enough for all of us to sit around it and play games! Speaking of games - there was a shelf in the living room full of games and puzzles which we thought was awesome!
The house was very clean when we arrived, and it had all the necessities for us! The bathrooms were spacious, the bedrooms were huge, and the kitchen had plenty of room for us to move around when we were getting meals ready!
There were 5 or 6 deer that were in the yard off and on all weekend, and they were so fun to watch!
We really hope to come back in the summer so we can enjoy the lake, the fire pit, the deck, and the overall view! It’s a nice quiet location that we all really enjoyed!
9 of us spent a week here. It was really a great place with plenty of room for us. Beautiful bedrooms on main level. A difficult to negotiate spiral staircase to the 2 bedrooms on the upper level. The beds on the upper level were also quite uncomfortable. Perfect for kids, not for adults. Got notice 2 days before our arrival that the built-in ovens weren't working. This resulted in several meal plan changes. There are 2 flights of stairs to the lake. Fire pit on first level, but we were unable to enjoy it because there was zero lighting from the house to the pit as well as the lake. A lovely place, but because of the bedroom issues we will not be able to return:(
The house sits at the end of the road so all you see are deer, foxes, squirrels, and the birds. Large hill down to the lake but chose this location as there is a road right to the dock so I could get my wife down to our rented pontoon boat. Daily boat rides and fishing from both the boat and the dock. Plenty of bluegills to keep the grandkids interested every day. Frogs at the dock area were a bonus and the 3 yo located every spiderweb and spider on the property with great excitement. If you don’t take the road to the lake the steps will keep you in shape. Half way down the steps it levels off at the fire pit. Great place, for s’mores and jiffy pop with the kids and a cocktail with the adults. The house itself is big with lots of room.kitchen was well equipped and the built in flat top grill was used almost daily for one thing or another. Plenty of seating for meals and also for TV viewing. There was more time spent by the kids viewing deer at the back door. Went thru bags of carrots feeding deer and grandson decided to share the garden tomatoes we brought with. There was a breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night snack for deer viewing. As stated in the description there is a circular iron stair case. At 6’5” 275 I just fit but even the 2 yo mastered the stairs on the first day. Stairs to second floor with a kid play room that has an evil looking doll, lol. We debated evil or just old fashioned. Air hockey of course was a big hit. Beds all comfortable! 5 *****
Nice house, including well-stocked with housewares et al Plenty of outdoor activities (large fire pit, pier for your boat, kayaks, SUPs, etc) to utilize. House is located in quiet corner of Little St Germain.
