Quiet, relaxing, comfortable cabin with plenty to do. Grandson liked to build bonfires at night in the big firepit set up for multiple families to use with plenty of firewood available and fish off the docks. Granddaughter enjoyed all the deer that appeared out of the woods. This was the 4th year we have vacationed here and still enjoy it as much as the 1st. We have many favorite places to eat and play. Accommodations were great for my family of 5, the three boys were under the age of 9\. The check in was very easy and the location to other attractions was perfect as well. Kitchen was supplied with everything that we needed. Our only "complaint" was the fire pit was across the resort on the other side of the property, to us it wasn't renter friendly, but all in all if we really wanted to use it we could've. It is exactly the kind of place we would own ourselves and being there made it seem like we did. The view from the living room is beautiful, the cabin is cozy and decorated perfectly. Being in the cabin made us feel like there was no one else but us on the property. Walking down the driveway and then down the newly paved Shields Road each morning with no traffic and lots of deer made us feel so relaxed and in awe of the fall colors. We would love to come again.
