It is within walking distance of the Spice Island Marine Services boatyard where we were comissioning the boat. Best however to have a car rented, as the location is close to the number 1 bus but up a long hill. We were hoping to extent 10 days but the place was booked on the requested extension dates. Carla is a delight to work with, and as it turns out she helped us find a place in another property that she knew was available. Some locals commented we were in a good neighborhood. If you want insight into how grenada daily life is, this is a good choice, and it does not display the egregious and artificial luxuriousness of resorts or high end hotel stays, all of which we tend to shy away from. We ended up watering the roses for the owner, finding the place to be a home, not simply a place to sleep.
