The location on St. George Island is perfect! We loved being right on the beach so we didn't have to haul our stuff very far. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We had a fabulous time! Pura Vida has a wonderful deck and a gorgeous wall of windows to look out over the beach! Everything you could want is in the house. Owners are great to work with - good communication as we were dodging hurricanes leading up to and throughout our stay :). I especially like the boardwalk onto the beach because you avoid the prickly things that grow on the beachgrass. Also the foot wash and outdoor shower were so convenient to quickly wash our furry friend of the salt and sand. We were fortunate to watch as Milton blew by south of us and got some great sunset pictures afterwards. Also loved the view and cushioned benches along the large windows facing the beach. The house was beautiful and you cant beat the location. When we come back to St George we will definetly stay here. The king mattress needs be replaced. It has large impressions where guests lay the most and it made it difficult to sleep. That is my only complaint. Everything else was amazing. The view from this home is amazing! We stayed a week with our children and grandchildren and had a blast. Home has everything you need. Very clean, easy check in and out. We played on the beach, took long walks, rented a golf cart to ride the island. It just went by too fast. The A/C in the home works great and the beds all slept good. This home has a wonderful view, with great access to a low key beach area! It had everything that we needed to relax and have a great week. The owners have added a lot of modern touches to the home, including the kitchen, which was my favorite space, besides the beach of course! We had a small maintenance issue, but the owners were easy to communicate with and we resolved it quickly. We will definitely come back to SGI and this house! ##### Catherine G. Easy drive to get to. Beach was only yards away and there was very few people on the beach near us. House was clean and stocked well. Property lived up to its description . We enjoyed our 6 days very much and would use this property again. Many positive attributes. The only negatives I can think of are that it is a smaller 3 bedroom house so if we had filled the bedrooms it might have felt cramped. The bathrooms are small and the furniture is not comfortable. But we spent very little time sitting in the den. We tried to stay outside as much as possible. ##### Ed R. The view can't be beat, the owners are kind and responsive, and the deck space is perfect for dogs, especially as one of ours is a tripod and having a ramp down to the beach was wonderful for her. That said, there were a few issues that kept it from getting five stars. There was dog poop on the steps from the parking area upon our arrival, and it was clear a previous dog had marked in the house (the kitchen mat in particular smelled strongly of urine and had to be washed, but the owners also ordered a replacement that was scheduled to be delivered the day we left). We are animal people and not squeamish about cleaning up accidents, but it was a shame the housecleaner had missed these. There were also some minor maintenance issues—loose doorknobs and toilet paper holders (my husband fixed them), mildewy caulk in the master shower, and a broken oversize Connect Four game with all the discs loose on the floor when we got there. Not a big deal, but doesn't make the best first impression. I think with a deep clean and a handyman's attention, this house would be stellar. It's been tastefully renovated, has a well-stocked kitchen, and is in a prime location, but needs a little more attention in these areas to be five stars. ##### Rachel M. The house is in a great location on SGI - close enough to shops and restaurants to bike/cart, but far enough away from the busy intersection. The amenities and layout of the house is perfect, especially the expansive deck which is ideal for watching the sunrise and sunset.
