On special request, the host got the house ready a week early on the condition I agreed that it was not quite ready to his normal standards and we were the first guests ever in his new property. "Our room was dated and could have used some small fixes and upgrade to make the experience better. Bed was comfortable which was the best feature. The hotel lobby and hallways smelled musty. But the room was fine. We just wanted a cheap hotel to crash overnight. It fulfilled that requirement."
