"We stayed with our kids in the loft room. It was a nice spacious room, and a good layout for traveling with kids. There are however no windows in the room. It wasn't a big deal for our short stay, but I would consider a window room if staying longer. The lodge is right by the lake and we enjoyed watching the water ski show and the outdoor space. We didn't have the greatest service in the restaurant and if I stayed again id probably consider going into town for dinner. Overall I would recommend this property for its location, outdoor space and spacious room."

"Very comfortable cabin, nice panfishing off the dock, quiet and we got to watch some bald eagles up close. Pleasant, comfortable seating areas all around. The cabin is stocked very thoughtfully with anything you might need--it's evident the host has put a lot of effort into making sure your stay is perfect. I'm not sure there are chairs for the firepit area, so might want to bring those. The water access is quite steep. The upstairs sleeping is probably best shared by a family unit or close friends due to access to the bathroom. Overall, very clean and very comfortable, easy and well set up. We took a short drive to Straight Lake State Park for hiking."

"Cute living room! Great location for my hubby and I to visit family. When the air conditioning didn’t work during an unexpected heat wave, the host responded (voice mail box was full, so texted) quickly by placing a window unit upstairs. I was disappointed there was no hair dryer, and the only bathroom was downstairs. The tub needed some scrubbing."
