The house is very comfortable and handy to have 3 ensuite bathrooms. Lovely garden, the kitchen was great if you want to cook or the pub a short walk away was great. Plenty of places to visit within a short drive. ##### Ruth R. Sue's cottage was lovely. It was very comfortable and immaculate inside. Communication with Sue was quick and easy. The cottage was in a perfect location, and the pub across the road was ideal! ##### Natalie C. The south facing garden area was a delight. So quiet, restful and comfortable. The outhouse was a delight to sit in out of the sun. The local pub did nice food and was only a few steps away. ##### David P. It is an absolutely beautiful property, equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday (we were a party of 6, spanning 3 generations ranging from 9 to nearly 80). It is situated in beautiful, peaceful countryside with a great pub on your doorstep serving fantastic food, with the convenience of being less than 10 minutes to several lovely beaches, and other major attractions nearby. Sue is a welcoming and helpful host and I couldn’t recommend this property more. ##### Nicola C. It was perfect for all drop offs and pick ups! Weather was rather against us, but luckily the cottage had good washing facilities and we had dry clothes for every day. Everyone slept well. We also used the local pub twice for an evening meal and we were grateful for its close proximity. All in all a good comfortable stay which everyone enjoyed. ##### Carole S. The appointments were excellent and the interior was spacious and clean. The rooms were comfortable and well laid out so that we were able to relax and enjoy the hours spent not on the go. The location was perfect for exploring Cornwall, from Tintagel to St. Ives and beyond. The local pub was a stones throw from the cottage door and the local experience was fantastic. The garden was perfect for cooking out and spending the evening in a lovely space with friends and family. We all highly recommend the property and will look back fondly on our stay. ##### Thomas D. The living room was on the 2nd floor (to Americans) and had comfortable seating. Stairs a bit narrow for those who have mobility issues but there is a nice en-suite bedroom on the ground floor. There was a beautiful garden but unfortunately we only made minor use due to weather. The pub for Sunday does not do dinner and we found after arriving at the Barley sheaf in the next village they also don’t do Sunday later dinner. Even though the hours say open you have to look at the times they serve food. We found a great fish and chips in Mevagissey so starvation averted! ##### terry c. The location is ideal for getting to places and yet tucked away in a quiet village so it's very peaceful. We had our 2 year old grandson with us and the rear garden was a perfectly safe place for him to run wild! The next time we head to Cornwall we'll be looking to re-book here as Sue made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We'd highly recommend this location and property as it's simply amazing :o) ##### Gary N. Briefly met the owners on arrival for a quick tour of the basics. The cottage is finished to a high spec and has everything you'll need Lots of space for our multigenerational group in a safe village. Sunny garden to have food / drinks / play in. The area has a busy pub just opposite and then close to Heligan, Mevagissey, St Austell for more to do. Lots of local beaches to explore and we just scratched the surface in our 4 days there. Would recommend for anyone thinking of visiting the area! B. The Lost Gardens of Heligan - unbedingt ansehen). Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Urlaub! ##### CHRIS B. We have just returned from a wonderful week staying in Nantuat Stables. Our party consisted of three generations; Grandparents in their 70’s, myself and my husband and our two children aged 11 and 8\. The property is absolutely gorgeous and beautifully decorated throughout with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We are all going to miss the wonderful showers and the huge relaxing bathtub with the most wonderful views! Sue was a very welcoming, friendly host, she was very prompt to answer any questions I had prior to arrival and was on hand during our stay to answer questions and give helpful advice. Our children fell in love with her gorgeous dog and wanted to bring her home. The house is situated in a small, quiet village, surrounded by beautiful countryside, views of which can be appreciated from many of the windows in the house), and there is a wonderful pub just metres from the front door serving fabulous food. We ate there on our first and last nights and were warmly greeted on both occasions. The house has a large kitchen with a range cooker if you don’t want to go out to eat, and we also took advantage of using the garden and lovely BBQ/picnic area. You are ideally situated for many attractions and beautiful beaches; the Lost Gardens of Heligan are just a couple of minutes up the road, and the beaches of Carne, Pendower and Pentewan to name just a few are only a 15-20 minute drive away, as is the lovely seaside village of Gorran Haven where we had the best fish and chips ever! You are also very close to Mevagissey, as well as St Austell where you can find the major supermarkets and petrol stations. I would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing break with home comforts. ##### Nicola C. Stayed 7 nights in Aug 2022 ---
