Walk 2 Beach, Restaurants, Activities The Place to bešŸ St.Augustine and this condo! Our location is perfect any time of the year. One of kind condo experience: a setting which is a short walk to the beautiful flat beaches or free parking next to the pier. All your beach needs: umbrella, towels, beach chairs...and a beach cart! As a fellow vacationer explains: itā€™s the šŸhive to begin your exploration of the most ancient city in America! So many adventures if you choose to partake or notšŸ¦„We have enjoyed so many places in the time we have spent in St. Augustine. First walking to the beach, swimming, fishing off the pier, riding a bike to the inter-coastal with the seagulls in the morning, playing volleyball, hanging out listening to the outdoor concerts and music echoing from local hot spots. Cool theme restaurants like The Conch house and newly renovated Panama Hattieā€™s. Salt Life restaurant which can pick you up by golf cart if your drinking more than one; the taco shop known for their UFO tacos, Le petitā€™s French bakery which has amazing omelets that are so huge you will have to shareā€¦. or not! Geez havenā€™t touched on the historic district which has so much good food and enjoyable/quaint evening dining, entertainment, sightseeing, and places to kick back and have a drink while listening to music and people watching from one of the many balconies. There is public parking however we suggest the Red Trolley, Uber, aLyft or even take the bikes if youā€™re the atheletic type. There is a Farmers market several mornings during the week as well as major concerts in the local Amphitheater which you can get to by bike or less than mile drive. Dates and times available in The Social of St. Augustine on the internet. Volleyball is available on the 6 beach courts next to the pier. One of our favorite things to do. I like the pet adoption thrift store .5 mile away for unique things (the hubby doesnā€™t like that kind of hunting) and donā€™t forget to go to the alligator farm although a bit too close to the pet adoptionsšŸ§šŸ¦” for my liking. The condo was great, the beds were comfortable, and there were a lot of supplies provided, including many things for the beach. It is convenient to A1A Beach and A1A, as well as St Augustine. Lori and John gave so much information about things to do and were very kind and understanding when we had car problems. We were so thankful that we could stay an extra night and they further helped us with a late checkout. They are truly dog friendly and the dog fee is really reasonable, plus thereā€™s a beautiful area to walk them with a fence for privacy. The pool was an added bonus too. I look forward to another trip to St Augustine but I will be sure to schedule it for when A Place To Be is available! ##### Saralyn R. Both times its been fantastic. And we are hoping next year will be number 3\. It really is, ā€œthe place to beā€. Location for our purposes is perfect. The beach, great food, and the amphitheater within a bike ride or walk. The place is exactly as described, fairly priced and with all the beach amenities provided sure makes packing the car easier. The wagon is a life saver for the beach! Im sure there are more expensive places to stay, but none any better at giving you every opportunity to thoroughly enjoy all that St Augustine offers. Try an ebike, we got ours from Sun and Fun, more really nice folks, and those bikes are FUN! ##### Tim L. Everything was close, the beach and the pool were an easy walk. If you choose to drive to the beach it's free parking. Shopping was no problem and found plenty of restaurants to try. Going back to the condo was like going home. Everything was there. A well stocked kitchen, even had a potato peeler. There's a full table and chairs which we actually used. Rare for us. We usually eat in the TV room it was a very nice change . The living room had plenty of seating. The TV was easily seen from any where you sat. There's 2 full baths wit the one right off the master bedroom. Nice comfortable mattress and the TV far enough away not to bother someone in the living room. Washer and dryer and a dishwasher. Our wives were truly happy with the unit and I would have heard about it if there was anything to criticize. We had a great stay and will probably return next year. ##### John B. From the onset of checking into our perfect 'home away from home' location, everything was just as advertised in the VRBO listing. The close proximity to all of our likes made it more enjoyable. The nearby beach was exceptional for daily morning walks and the fishing pier was great! The fireworks display, sunset cruise and the Night of Lights tour were memory lasting events and definitely worth returning to experience. It was nice that a beach wagon, chairs, beach bag and towels were provided so we didnā€™t have to bring ours from home. I did like that we are on the bottom level so we didnā€™t have to climb the stairs, but the downside was the people above us. You could hear them walking around. ##### Anita G. Some Items need attention for a great experience. Suggest: Foundation on queen bed be replaced. Carpet in both bedrooms need to be replaced. Our stay at this property was home away from home. Everything that was possibly needed was there. The unit was comfortable and clean. The area provided an easy walk to the beach and many restaurants. Old St Augustine was just a short drive from the property. The owners, Lori and John were available through text or phone if we had questions. Would we stay again if we had the opportunity ?
