The cottage was beautifully restored with all the amenities. Interior design well done and conducive to relaxation. Location could not be better as we walked everywhere. Sherri is a wonderful host — always responsive and generous. The home was perfect. We didn’t get on our car once, the old city is a bike ride or a walk away. Attention to details and making the rental seem like home was extremely above average. We totally enjoyed just hanging in the house because it was so warm and welcoming. Great location if you are mobile. Just minutes away from the historic district. The house was immaculate & comfortable. The only thing that we missed were luggage racks for our suitcases, a minor inconvenience. Pleasantly surprised at how easy to find, check in, and settle in. Proximity to all the fun places downtown, a 10 for sure. Galleries, restaurants, the Trolly, museums, the list too long to add. Host was terrific! And the house spotless. The kitchen? Very well appointed, very cook-friendly. From pre-check in to departure Sherri was an excellent host. The cottage is tastefullly decorated with an obvious attention to detail. Modern appliances, beautifully finished wood floors, a great bathroom and a comfortable master bedroom make this an ideal vacation spot. With three separate outdoor seating areas, front porch, side porch and side yard it is an extremely relaxing setting. Easy walking distance to all the in town attractions allowed us to leave the car in the driveway for our entire stay. We highly recommend the “Mermaid” and Sherrie!
