I was having trouble deciding places for us to stay because I wanted to spend most of our time in the historic district. I ended up deciding to split our vacation between 2 spots because this one sounded so great. It says 11 minute walk to the beach, but it's really much closer. You walk through the community parking lot past the pools and there's a private walkway to the beach. We spent time around the pool as well and if you cross the street there is a nice little coffee shop we went to each morning. We visited the week of Thanksgiving and were so happy with the accommodations. The unit was clean and inviting with a very comfortable mattress in the bedroom, along with a helpful “smart board,” which offered area recommendations for dining and activities, as well as check-out instructions, right at our fingertips. The complex, itself, was great! We enjoyed swimming in the glistening heated pool that was a short walk away from the unit. It was absolutely spotless, and the water felt great—cool, but not cold at all, so very refreshing after a long walk on the beach. The complex also boasts private beach access. The entrance to the beach is about a five-minute walk from the unit. Sunrises and sunsets are not to be missed from the beach there—simply breathtaking! The tub didn't drain while in the shower. Which happens, not a huge deal. There is very limited kitchenware. The biggest thing for us was the living room looks nothing like the listing. Maybe it's in the process of being redone. Different paint, rug and furniture. It was very bland. Not the bright colors of the listing that we had hoped for. We enjoyed our stay. Love the area and the beaches. The grounds are not brand new, but always nice and clean. The pools were clean and inviting. But it is unlikely we will rent this specific unit again. ##### Courtney K.
