Amazing house and hosts!
The house was everything we hoped for and more! Very comfortable and the open floor plan was perfect for gathering with friends. The enclosed pool area was very relaxing. Perfect location between town and beach. I can’t begin to say enough great things about our host. They went above and beyond to make our stay here the best it could be. They were responsive with questions that came up and even have a website that will introduce you to St Augustine area. Definitely worth watching. I would definitely stay here again!!

Nice area house needs additional towels/washcloths for many people there were 9 of us. Floors need to be cleaned better or just don’t walk barefoot inside. The 2 bathrooms very small.

We are glad you enjoyed your visit to St. Augustine. The property is as pictured in the listing, including the layout of the bathrooms. We do let guests know the amount of towels provided in their welcome information so they can plan to bring some if they need more than what our cleaners provide. We have professional cleaners and quality control checkers that take care of the property after every stay. If a guest is ever unhappy with the clean, they can let us know and we can send them back. That being said, guests tend to track dirt/sand onto the floors when checking in while going back and forth with shoes on.

The owner was great to deal with. The property had some minor wear & tear in the main bathroom (visible water damage around the shower entrance). The toaster didn't work on it's own and a blender would've been nice to have on hand. Also there were only 4 pool lounge chairs ..a few more seatings would've been nice. We purchased two beach chairs to leave behind. The pool was wonderful and the Amphitheater down the street gave us 2 nights of free entertain that was a bonus. The owners recommendations for local eateries were a hit. We enjoyed St Augustine and the neighborhood.

Friends weekend away
Loved this house. Very spacious and allows for all to have their own space after long days and nights. Easy to refresh at your own pace. The pool was a perfect addition we didn’t even know we needed. Lots of good things here
I believe one should always give an accurate and in-depth review. I'll start with the good things: the pool was nice. We all loved the layout of it and the fact that there was a large side yard too. Every bedroom had ceiling fans and a king size bed. That's hard to find. Furniture was comfortable and the beds were too. But there were some things that should be mentioned. First the home needs repainted. It's dingy and apparent that it's been a bit neglected. Don't get me wrong - it was clean. But the paint is faded, dingy and long overdue for a refresh. The pool decking could use a good power washing and the birdcage needs it too. And while we are addressing the pool area - please consider adding additional chairs. 4 loungers and one chair don't work for a home that sleeps 10+. We also all commented that in 2023 we were surprised not to find TV's in the bedrooms. We did all appreciate stands on both sides of the beds, plenty of plugs and extension cords. Someone does need to work on the ice maker. It's not working right and the fridge wasn't real cold. Overall if I was going back to the area I would consider staying there again. I believe the home could benefit from some freshening up. Thank you for a fun visit!

We are glad that you enjoyed our home and pool! The cleaners will be happy to hear that you appreciated their hard work. Our properties are touch up painted twice per year (sometimes more). The outside areas are also pressure washed a couple of times per year. The property is as pictured on the listing. this includes the furniture that is present. We do state on our listing what there is one large TV in the living room. We haven't had complaints about this because our guests are usually out enjoying all our beautiful city has to offer or relaxing by the pool. The refrigerator and freezer are in working order. Sometimes when guests first arrive and load up their groceries, it can take time to come back to temp. This is normal of any empty fridge that is refilled with items.

My daughters and I traveled to St. Augustine to celebrate Mother's day. The very private pool area was perfect for winding down. The pics of the house does not do it any justice! This house is beautiful, lots of space for 5 adult women, and a cozy living room area for us to gather in. We didn't cook much, because it was so much to see and do, we stayed on the go! As far as communication with the owner, he gets 💯. A quick drive over the Lion's Gate bridge is where the heart of everything exits, in my opinion I could go on and on. It was a great decision for us to book this property!

Huge Beautiful House! Perfect for big families, spring break, getaways with friends
This house is huge! It could easily sleep up to 12 people, 10 just with the 5 king-sized beds plus 2 on a sleeper sofa. With that large of a party, keep in mind there are only 2 bathrooms. The pool is awesome but wish it was kept just a tad warmer but it was very enjoyable and clean. The location of the property is so close to everything! It's within walking distance of the amphitheater, few minutes from the beach, 10 mins from downtown St. Augustine and there's a ton of fantastic restaurants all within 2 mins to 15 mins away. The kitchen has everything you may need. I wish there were a couple bedrooms with TV's but none of the bedrooms have a tv except the sleeper sofa room and the living room. The hot water takes forever to get to the shower, at least 5 minutes, so don't jump right in unless you don't mind a cold shower. The basic necessities are supplied but not a ton of "extras" so make sure you bring anything you just must have or ask first. It was my first time using VRBO and I didn't read all of the fine print and know all the in's and out's and was surprised by all of the "Host Fees". It's $35 extra fee a night just because the pool is there so make sure to use it! It's my fault for not looking but VRBO allows them and it's still a fantastic bargain for all that you get. It was a great trip and I would highly recommend this property and would visit again but probably not with just the two of us. I'd make sure and bring more friends and family next time!

This home had everything we needed for our group. The kids played in the grass area and everyone loved the heated pool! 5 bedrooms all with king beds was an amazing find as well! The hosts were very prompt at returning messages and were happy to help when needed. If we come back to St. Augustine in the future, we will definately stay again.

Great pool, and a safe neighborhood with a stocked kitchen!
I rented this home for the month of February 2023 while we searched for a second home in Florida. I traveled with two dogs. The pool is the selling point of this home. I felt very safe in the neighborhood as there were times where I was alone in the home with just my two dogs. Kitchen had every single thing you could need. Slept amazingly. Additionally, worked in the home remotely, which was very accommodating.

Perfect for large family
Anyone with a large family knows how hard it is to get everyone together in the same place, especially when they are coming from all over the country. The house in St. Augustine was absolutely perfect for us to stay together for my nephew's wedding. Everyone had their own room even the grandkids, which their parents loved. Very convenient to stores and restaurants and the beach. In between the wedding festivities, we all got to sit and visit by the pool. The owners were very accomodating when we asked to stay an extra day. I hope to come here again.

Two front burners not working on the gas stove and both lights in the overhead fan/hood were burnt out. The filters in the stove hood needed cleaned.(full of grease) Star came to address the stove issues and lights but parts had to be ordered, none on hand.

Great Stay!
Nice and spacious home with plenty of room for our group of 4 women friends. Neighborhood was nice and quiet and we felt very safe there. Beds were all comfortable. We took ubers into the historic district and they averaged about $12-14 with tip. Screens were ripped out in the pool area, most likely due to the recent storms so mosquitos were a problem even during the day, so hopefully they will be repaired soon. Communication and instructions were great.

The layout of the house was great for our adult children and their spouses and grandchild gathering for our son’s wedding. Everyone had their own room and the living room, kitchen and dining room were great for gathering and not feeling cramped. Hurricane Nicole kept us out of the pool until our last day, but it was nice and hate we couldn’t enjoy it more. Think the cleaning crew forgot to mop the floors, but otherwise was clean. Property manager was super responsive. Easy drive to the beach.

Fantastic property! Near everything
We had a large group spanning 4 generations and we had a wonderful time. The house was absolutely perfect for us with plenty of room for our group of 8. The house never felt crowded and the large dining room table worked well for a few family meals. I can't say enough good things about the host and check in check out process was a breeze. The pool is great and the location is perfect. Close to everything St. Augustine has to offer. Looking forward to booking again!!

The perfect getaway!

Perfect family reunion
We had a wonderful time thanks to the excellent accommodation. The house was very well equipped, in great condition, very clean and of course had a wonderful big swimming pool enjoyed by all. We loved this property! It was central to a lot of locations and in between the beach and the historical downtown area of St Augustine! Only thing was it really wasn't a walkable distance to the beach (safely). Loved the pool and the cleanliness of the home!

We had a great time. Size of the kitchen is great and there was plenty of seating for a large group to dine together (we had 7). We loved hanging by the pool too. Very relaxing. Owners are very responsive. If we go back to St Augustine, we would definitely rent again if we had a large group.

This home is exactly as described. King size beds in all bedrooms. Living area spacious plenty of room to spread out. Backyard completely fenced in with 10/12' privacy fence for fur babies to run. Pool area beautiful. The only thing missing was tv's in bedrooms. Thanks for sharing.

Our stay for 5 couples was great! House was clean and set up beautifully. For a quick weekend of 10 people I did wish there was more paper towels, toilet paper and garbage bags as there isn't much time to go to a store. I spoke with the owner and the brought them out right away! Making everything for our stay perfect! Would 100% recommend!

Amazing pool
We had an amazing time at this property. It's perfectly located, close to stores, restaurants, beach, and the old downtown center. The heated, screened in outdoor pool was fabulous! It literally made the whole trip! The kids refused to get out the whole week! The big dining room table was also a major plus, allowing all 8 of us to sit together for meals, which is actually not a common find in most houses. The laundry machines and dish washer were very convenient. Great house for 2 families to sleep and hang out very comfortably. My only recommendation would be to add a user friendly outdoor grill, but overall I would highly recommend this house and totally come back again myself!
