The cleaners hadn’t come after the previous guests. Our option was to leave so a cleaning crew could come, which we declined because we have a dog and had already brought all our stuff inside. So we cleaned it ourselves and did three loads of laundry, with bedding, towels, etc. The owner refunded the cleaning fee. Additionally, the beach access was often blocked because of erosion-prevention measures…it would have been helpful if we knew this when booking or arriving. The place itself is very nice and comfortable and I’d recommend it if it’s been cleaned and there isn’t intermittent beach access. ##### Leah K.
