Oceanfront home with pool,hot tub, fire pit, bikes. "Surf's Up" is a magnificent, ocean front home looking over the vast St. Augustine dunes and the Atlantic Ocean. Walking into the foyer, you are greeted by soft colors, beachy decor, and beautiful pine floors. The main living area is on the 1st floor. The living room, dining area, and kitchen look out over the pool and hot tub and the beach in the back ground. The living room is warm and inviting with its many windows allowing plenty of natural light. The sofas and chairs allow guests to gather around a decorative fireplace to socialize, or watch their favorite show on one of many TVs in the house. There is a powder room off of the living room. Next to the living room is the sun room with two day beds, sitting area, and another TV. The sun room can be used as a 6th bedroom, however it does not have a closet. The dining table has comfortable seating for 8, but you could squeeze in 10 or 12 if needed. The kitchen is spacious and fully loaded with everything you need to make your favorite meals. The chef in your group will appreciate the granite counters, wood cabinets, stainless appliances, and plenty of prep space. We have a side by side refrigerator with water and ice dispenser in the door. On the main level is a fabulous master suite. Here, guests will find a comfy king bed. There is also a nautically-themed desk with work space, and high speed wireless Internet. There is a flat screen TV mounted on the wall in the bedroom. The master bath is very spacious, with a double vanity, deep soaking tub, separate shower and enclosed toilet room. The back deck wraps from the back of the house around to the master bedroom. Guests have deck access from the master bedroom. On the 2nd floor, there are four more bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. There is a second master bedroom upstairs. It is on the ocean side of the house and features a king bed, TV, and a large, private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and ocean views. The 4th bedroom is also on the ocean side. It has a double bed with twin bed on top and 1 twin bed and a TV with a DVD/VCR player. The 5th bedroom has a double bed with twin bed on top and a separate twin bed. Bedrooms 3,4, and 5 share a full bathroom which features a pedestal sink and a shower/tub combo. On the ground level, the back deck offers a sunny place to sit and watch the passing pelicans, or to lay out in the sun and work on your tan. There is a patio table with seating for six, another table with seating for six with umbrella, and a couple of recliners. There is a separate laundry room on the ground level. It has two sets of washers and dryers. There is also a bathroom in the laundry room. It has a shower, sink, and toilet. The beach is accessible via a public walkway just a few steps from the house. When you return from the beach, we have a private, outdoor shower closet with hot and cold water. There is plenty of parking space here. We have covered carport parking for two cars, and at least 4 more cars can park in the driveway. We have a small garage, but it is used mainly to store beach toys (surf boards, beach chairs, etc). Also 7 beach cruiser bikes to tool around the beach or ride to local shop. The house was perfect! Plenty of space for a larger group of girls. Clean, spacious kitchen and sitting area. Sleeping arrangements and bathrooms worked really well and the backyard pool plus being steps away from the beach were better than we could've asked for. The host was so communicative and responsive with details about the property and recommendations for the area. Check in and check out was easy and seamless. There were so many great spots to grab coffee, food and drinks around the area and just a short uber ride from downtown St. Augustine. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend! ##### Ellyn V. Pool was great for kids to swim and it is located in a great spot next to many restaurants and things to do. Highly suggest this home to anyone looking for the beach experience. Poor property management The house is very nice. Awesome location right on the beach. There is a pool and Jacuzzi, which is excellent. The owner was great to communicate with and very responsive. The property management team or person needs to be replaced. I know the owner lives far away, but there were just too many things that were not working properly, broken, or just left undone or messy. If it weren’t for the management of the property I would give it five stars. I don’t like when the picture show everything spotless and clean and orderly and then you show up and it is not that way. ##### Michael & Rachel S. The pool was in constant use, multiple hours on the beach (awesome sunrise walks!). It was a short walk to restaurants, shops, and mini golf. Grocery stores were minutes away. Traveling with five of my girlfriends, this place provided everything that we needed. The beds were comfortable, kitchen, fully stocked, and as an added bonus, a beautiful view. You can't beat the location. We were close to everything, yet enjoyed privacy in our VRBO. Beach access was a breeze, and the in ground pool and hot tub delightful! Plenty of space for four of our families to spread out, extra large table for dining, plenty of towels and paper products provided. The views were amazing and having not just one but two washers and dryers helped keep up with the little ones laundry. Walkable to coffee, restaurants and putt putt golf, we had 7 adults and 7 children in our group and there was plenty of space for everyone. We loved the pool and used it daily. The house is right on the beach which is so convenient when you have little ones. We started everyday by walking down to the beach and watching the sunrise. The house was amazing, clean, roomy, and right on the beach. It was peaceful but still in the area of things to do around it. The bikes were a special thing that the kids loved. Lots of extras in the garage for the teens to do. The first floor master was so helpful so the kids could have the second floor. The house was better than any picture could show. This is a beautiful property. Plenty of room. Great location. The property owner was very helpful with suggestions of places to see, restaurants to try and touring hints.
