Enjoy bright, open living spaces, a cozy front porch, a private courtyard, and a fully stocked kitchen. The home is filled with natural light, original wood floors, and unique, artistic touches. Perfect for family trips or a getaway with friends, you’re just a short walk from shops, restaurants, and all the charm the city has to offer. Available when needed. St. Augustine is a fun, historic city with lots to explore. Walk the cobblestone streets, visit the Castillo de San Marcos, and shop along St. George Street. You can enjoy boat tours, ghost walks, and beautiful beaches nearby. The local food is amazing, with fresh seafood and cool rooftop spots. For this reason, we use a thorough and extensive process of cleaning after each check-out. We charge a pet fee of $100 per reservation for 2 pets maximum. \*If you neglect to inform us ahead of time that you are bringing a pet with you than we reserve the right to either TERMINATE your stay early or charge an additional $100 on top of the original pet fee. The following additional charges apply to late check outs/early arrivals, assuming we can offer this at all (we often can’t so please never assume this will be allowed): 1 hr or less early arrival or late departure: $50 1-2 hr early arrival/late departure: $100 2-3 hr early arrival/late departure: $200 These fees are primarily in place to highly discourage late checkouts/early arrivals since this causes our cleaning service undue stress to prep the unit prior to your or the next set of guest’s arrival. This also increases the need for them to rush/cut corners, increasing the likelihood of them not cleaning the unit to the high standard which we hold them to. REFUND DISCLAIMER: Please note that if a refund is issued for your booking, the processing fee of 3.9% will not be refunded. The refunded amount will be the total paid minus the 3.9% processing fee per Stripe’s return policy. This applies to direct bookings and bookings made through select booking channels. Thank you for your understanding. ●Pets: A pet fee of $100 applies per reservation for up to 2 pets. Bringing a pet without prior notification incurs an additional $100 fee, and we may end your stay early. No cats allowed. If your pet causes any damages, additional charges will incur to cover repair or cleaning costs. ●Two cars can be parked in the garage due to city regulations about parking spaces. The washer and dryer are also located in the garage. ● You must be 21 years of age or older to book a reservation, and an individual who is 21 years of age or older must be present throughout the duration of the reservation. ● Please no eating or drinking in the bedrooms (closed water bottles are an exception). Additional cleaning fees to remove food/drink stains will apply. ● This is a smoke-free property. Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the home or on the premises. Violation of this policy will result in a $200 fine to cover additional cleaning costs. ● Pick up all trash before departing. Place all garbage in an outside trash can. ● Please wash all dishes. If the dishwasher was used, please run and unload the dishwasher prior to departure. ● Do not open the windows. This is due to the extra security measures we have installed. ●Do not overload the washer/dryer. Do not wash sandy beach items or towels in the units. Empty the dryer lint trap after EVERY USE. Additional fees will apply if units are damaged due to improper use. ● The storage room is to remain closed at all times. ● Consumables such as condiments or snacks may be left behind by previous guests if they are not empty. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests’ discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables. ● Please do not rearrange the furniture. ● If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in additional cleaning or maintenance required, guests will be responsible for additional cleaning charges. In the unfortunate event that neighbors are disturbed, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. ● NO ILLEGAL ACTIVITY OR GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY ●Only registered guests are permitted to stay at the property. My husband and I are Flagler College grads so we're very familiar with the area and particular about proximity to downtown when we visit. There are two reasons I didn't give 5 stars. First, it was not mentioned in the listing that the backyard is a shared space with an apartment that is above the garage that is also a short term rental and the parking is also shared. There are no assigned parking spaces based on which unit you're renting so it leaves the two renters to coordinate parking if they each have more than 1 vehicle. Luckily for us the other families our stay overlapped with were very pleasant so we didn't run into any issues other than a bit of confusion upon arrival. One of the other families told me the listing for the garage apartment did mention the shared spaces so I'm guessing it was just an oversight that this listing did not. Secondly, the 2nd bathroom has a very deep tub/shower combo which is a little difficult to get in and out of, particularly for anyone with mobility issues. We were traveling with my 85 year old mother in law and 72 year old mother so that was a bit difficult (as was the 2nd queen bed which is quite tall). Nothing is a deal breaker, as I mentioned, the property is great, just a couple things to note so you're not caught off guard and can make sure it meets your needs before arrival. ##### Rachael S.
