Second time staying at Atlantic Splash. They do a great job of keeping the place clean and updated. Much noticed improvements done to the house since last stay. Pool is awesome! This place is about 15 feet to the beach path from the front corner of property. It’s very private and in a great neighborhood. Would definitely stay again! They also stock the house with plenty of items including beach and bath towels. If you’re bringing your dog this is the place for you as it is pet friendly. We had a blast here! the kids loved the heated pool, especially on some cooler days. The location is in a less commercialized area of St Augustine which was very nice and the beach was not crowded. Nice long stretch of beach. The walk to the beach was a little further and more strenuous than we were expecting with carrying the chairs and tent but there are two public beach access points within blocks where you can drive on to the beach. ##### Michael G. The house was just as described in the listing. The heated pool was an absolute luxury, being the sun didn't come out during our stay and the air temps were in the low 60's. The elevator was a godsend for us getting up in age and the ocean views were Heavenly! The house is directly next to the public access walkway to the beach, which shouldn't be missed!! Rental was in a central location to the activities we planned. There were a couple of maintenance issues but the team took care of them promptly. The pool was heated and the girls enjoyed it. The house is older and in need of some updating and minor repairs. The beach is close but a challenging walk up and down the dunes. Not ideal for our elderly guests. This place had it all, and it starts with the location and views. Plenty of space for our entire party, all thr modern amenities you expect, excellent communication from David and his team, and a heated pool in case the beach isnt for you. From start to finish we LOVED it! To have an opportunity every morning to watch the sunrise over the ocean, from the upstairs balcony, was incredible. We absolutely loved this property. Short walk down a path to the beach directly from the backyard. The heated pool was so nice for us since we had a few cold days during our stay. Our boys (1 and 4) loved the elevator and thought it was the coolest thing to see in a house. Our family stayed on the floor level with a king bed, futon and bathroom but was nice to have the privacy of our own floor while the in laws were upstairs. Nice short drive to the main city for shops and dining. Easy to find and has lots of amenities for us upon arrival. Had lots of beach chairs to use, pool toys and accessories, lots of towels, sheets and blankets, toiletries and other things. You have good views is the ocean from the house. The pool is a nice bonus. The neighborhood is nice. The AC worked well. Be advised, there are no indoor stairs to go between the upstairs and downstairs, which is an issue if you have young children, as one of the bedrooms is down there. There was not a way to enter through the downstairs door. Furniture and cleanliness were average to below average, but the price for location is great. So, a bit of a compromise. Kitchen well stocked - plenty of plates, bowls, cups, etc for everyone. There were even a few items we forgot to bring (thanks for the coffee filters and box of tissues!) Regular coffee maker and a keruig. Fridge does not have an ice maker so we purchased bags. Suggest to get new ice trays because they are cracked. Plenty of towels for the pool and extra blankets. Each room had a floor fan (no ceiling fans). We ended up buying an air mattress as the futon/sofa downstairs wasn’t big enough for two long legged 13 yr olds. They slept on the couch upstairs one night and said it was comfortable.1 full bath and laundry, half bath upstairs and 1 toilet downstairs. Beach walkover was nice. Pool was heated and clean.
