Step off the deck and onto the sand. This fully renovated 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath oceanfront home sits directly on one of Florida's most beautiful and uncrowded beaches — Vilano Beach, just minutes from historic St. Augustine.

Wake up to sunrise over the Atlantic from your private sunrise deck, where there's seating for the whole group and an unobstructed ocean view. The home was fully renovated with designer finishes throughout — new kitchen with island, stainless appliances, Keurig and drip coffee, and everything you need to cook a real meal. The living and dining areas are open and spacious, with a 65" smart TV and ocean views from the main room.

Sleeping arrangements are built for comfort: two king ensuite bedrooms (each with private bath), plus a third bedroom with a queen and pullout twin — ideal for families or groups. The primary suite faces the ocean. New AC installed 2026.

Beach chairs and beach towels are provided. Bring your kayak — the ocean is right there. Dogs are welcome (up to 20 lbs). EV charging available (NEMA 14-50). The home sleeps 7 comfortably with room to breathe.

getaway beach house

we were looking for a quick get away beach front house and this is exactly what this house was ! super close to all the attractions of st augustine. location was great. this house is not a fancy modern house it’s more of a beach vintage style type perfect for any age. the best part for us was it was located on the beach and the deck was awesome plenty of room to hang out and eat lunch or just layout and soak up the sun. if you want a beachfront house close to town this is the house! we will definitely be back in the future.

Location, Location, Location

We had a wonderful week staying at Cathy's place in Velano Beach. Right on the beach, two doors down from a great restaurant. The bay window in the amazing great room was also a fantastic plus for those hot mornings before the breeze picked up on the beach. We could enjoy our coffee and the view without having to be in the sweltering August heat. This house has 3 bedrooms, but it was just four adults. We kept the door to the primary closed off from the hallway to the other bedrooms and basically had a suite for one couple and the primary for the other. Never felt on top of each other. It was also perfect for our two small dogs. There is a small, public beach access nearby, but with only houses around and little public parking, it felt like we had the beach to ourselves. Cathy was super responsive whenever I reached out with a question. We'll definitely be visiting here again in the future!

Perfect house in St. Augustine

This was our second stay at this house. The house is great, is right on the beach, and the few from the deck is great. Location wise it’s perfect. Vilano Beach is just north of Downtown St. Augustine and is a great, quite beach. You’re also less than 7 min to Publix and 10 min to Downtown. We’ll definitely be back and 100% recommend.

My family loves this beach house!!!

This was our second year at this home and we will keep returning!! It is clean, comfortable and just plain charming! It has everything we needed. The large deck is fabulous and the view is amazing! My family especially enjoyed the boogie boards this year and watching the dolphins every morning! Jennifer is also great and responds quickly to any questions!

An Ideal Getaway

This house has literally everything you need for a serene beach getaway. From cookware and cleaning supplies to linens and beach chairs, there wasn't a thing we needed that we couldn't find. There are even unexpected "extras" like a toolbox and scissors. If you're looking for seriously fancy, this probably isn't your rental. But if, like us, you're looking for a lovely, comfortable home on a prime stretch of quiet oceanfront property, you'll be in heaven. During our late August visit, the beach was often gloriously empty and always uncrowded. If we weren't on the beach, we lived in the rockers or lounge chairs on the massive deck. For you pet owners, there is ample space to set up crates or lay out dog beds, and extra sheets are provided specifically for covering the furniture, so no need to pack those as we did. The awesome deck is gated, so our pups could wander freely, and there's a lower spigot at the outdoor shower downstairs with a hose to clean up your salty, sandy pups. This is a phenomenal, comfortable, truly pet-friendly getaway!

Family Vacay 2022

This was a first of it’s kind of vacation for our family. The house was perfect for us. The view of the ocean was absolutely gorgeous, along with the view from the master bedroom through the French doors! We saw dolphins from the deck almost every morning of the week. Truly beach front. Cathy was super easy to work with and quickly responded to any questions. The place was stocked with everything needed to make it completely functional.. Just walk in with your belongings and you’re ready to go! I can’t say enough great things!!

Peace & Serenity

This was our second visit. Last year we visited for a week. We loved it so much this year we stayed for two! Our young adult kids visited the second week and it was great to share this special, peaceful spot with them. Our dog remembered the home right away and couldn’t wait to run in the beach each day. Location couldn't be better - right on beach and beautiful views. Easy drive to St Augustine . House is older, but nice deck and open concept living. The place was clean and no complaints. But should mention pets are allowed and one person in our party with pet allergies could not set on couch because of dog hairs on pillows on furniture from other renters.

Beautiful dog-friendly home on the beach!

We had a wonderful time and loved this rental home! It is literally right on the beach - you wake up every morning looking out from the master bedroom to see the sun rise over a beautiful and quiet beach! The open and comfortable design of the house suited us and our dogs beautifully. It is well-equipped with everything that you need to cook in, plus plenty of towels, linens and cleaning equipment to keep the home neat (and sand-free)! The large and spacious deck is fantastic!! We spent several afternoons out enjoying the warm weather and reading, with our dogs snoozing after their long walks on the beach! We enjoyed going into St. Augustine (a great walking town), and also found some great hiking trails at the local GTM Preserve. Cathy was a gem to work with - she was friendly and welcoming, checked in with us regularly and immediately responded to our questions. We highly recommend this wonderful get-away on Vilano Beach!

Grand Ocean View!

This beach house makes you feel like you're on the beach whether you're inside in the dining/living area or on the spacious deck! Property owners are very thoughtful with the amenities provided. Close to downtown St. Augustine and convenient to near by grocery store. We are definitely looking forward to our next family vacation here.

Loved the location- bathrooms need to be gutted. Place needs to be deep cleaned- dead bugs in the bathroom lights. Makes me think Covid cleaning is non existent. Basic upgrades like towels that aren’t falling apart or stained- providing keurig pods- shampoo, soap, and conditioner… would have been nice (typical of all other places I’ve stayed). There is a floor lamp that is duct taped together. Not all lights have bulbs both interior and exterior. No tin foil, seran wrap or Tupperware if you are trying to cook in. Zero spices or oils. Interior needs to be painted in halls and doors need to be replaced. Outdoor furniture was great! Newly resided (hopeful it will be painted white or kept gray with a fun front door color). Wonderful new exterior windows and doors. Living room furniture, large table and kitchen are perfect for the beach. Loved the wood floors. If the owners would redo the master bathroom I would suggest putting a stackable washer and dryer where the tiny shower is and put a normal size tub/shower where the side by side washer/dryer currently are. I would rent again only after improvements are made- the price warrants basic upgrades and amenities.

Just what we needed!

We loved staying on the beach. Very open and we could walk to dining at The Reef and only needed a short drive to Publix and a little further to St. Augustine. We loved having our dog there. Having the deck facing the ocean was great for him and us. Would definitely want to stay here again!

Wonderful property

I cannot say enough great things about this house. The location, view from the huge deck, & direct access to the beach is the best you could ask for. The house was very clean when we arrived & decorated beautifully throughout. There is every utensil & dish you could need in the kitchen, plenty of towels in the bathrooms, big closets in each bedroom, AND tons of beach chairs/floats/toys for our use. Below the house is the perfect place for outdoor games in the shade (or if it rains) or a nap in the hammock- the afternoon breeze is unbelievable. The beach is very wide & very unpopulated at this spot so there more than plenty of place for kids & dogs to run. Communication with the owner was amazing before & throughout our stay. Overall this house was everything we hoped + more.

Funky Beach Cottage

The beachfront location is absolutely spectacular. Beach for miles and superb views from the main living area and master bedroom. The road is VERY busy and noisy, parking is limited for anything more than one large vehicle on the property, (public access area next door for additional options if needed.) The pictures are a bit outdated for the beach access due to recent beach and dune renourishment. There are no steps/seawall anymore, just a steep dune to descend and clamber back up. The house is funky and fun, the decor is excellent and the furniture modern and well-appointed. The kitchen is a bit outdated, could use a new stove and dishwasher, (suggestion only, not a complaint.) Well appointed with cooking utensils and dishes, glasses, etc. The bathrooms are also a bit outdated, but clean and serviceable. We enjoyed the sun deck which had a table, chairs, and a sun lounger. It was super hot the week we were there, appreciated the air conditioning! We enjoyed our stay very much and would return happily. Thank you for sharing your super cool beach cottage!

Lovely home needs TLC

Overall enjoyed our stay, charming and rustic home with amazing views... just a few things that would make it worth the price (better pillows on the beds; burners that work on the stove; more comfortable seating in the living room area; repair loose nails sticking out of boards on the deck; repair broken chaise lounge; and replace the coffee maker that was broken by a previous guest... we were told to use the Keurig but, Keurig pods are not environmentally friendly, so we went to Dollar General to get a normal coffee maker for the week). Other than those few issues, this was a lovely home and we enjoyed our stay overall. Thank you.
