Mid-Century Pool Home Between Downtown & Beach

Situated in Davis Shores, this Saint Augustine pool home is in a great central location: One mile north is historic downtown, and one mile south is the entrance to the Anastasia State Park, the closest (and the best) beach in town. Spend a few days here and we think you'll agree: Davis Shores is the ideal Oldest City neighborhood. Quiet and peaceful, yet walking distance to some of the best breweries, bars and restaurants.

With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two light-filled living rooms (each with their own Smart TV's), and a screened in pool, this property suits a variety of needs. While most of the homes original 80’s features still live on today, it's furnished with brand new, comfortable mid-century flair, and designed for true vacation leisure.

In the backyard, you'll find a large, screened-in pool with an outdoor dining table and 5-burner propane grill, nestled beneath a massive live oak tree and surrounded by lush green foliage. Totally private, the screen enclosure also helps keep bugs away, making it the perfect spot to lounge during any time of the day.

With a fully stocked kitchen, plus a garage with washer and dryer, beach chairs, a cooler and an umbrella, you'll find everything you need for stays both short and long. (Discounts for longer bookings!) Plus, you'll find a custom welcome book with curated recommendations for fantastic local restaurants, beaches and activities.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed and more for our 5 night stay. The house is in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown, attractions and the beaches. The pool area is lush and private with plenty of seating. Zander was very quick to answer any questions I had. He made us feel very welcome and comfortable. If you are visiting St Augustine and looking for a place to stay, this is a great choice!

Location! Location! Location!

Our family has stayed many times in St Augustine over the past 30 years and this property is an ideal location for everything you could want to do! Many great restaurants in the neighborhood and just a lovely 15-20 min walk over the Bridge of Lions to the historic Downtown. So close to the beautiful beach at the state park. The house was very comfortable for 6 adults and was well equipped

A great getaway from Wisconsin winter

Our home away from home was wonderful! The house was spacious, very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. We were in walking distance to many area attractions and restaurants. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

60th birthday party girls weekend!

Fortunately, Hurricane Helene did not stop us from being able to enjoy our stay here in St. Augustine! The home was exactly as described in both words and pictures. It was very comfortable for three of us, and we enjoyed time in each space in the house. The pool was great to cool down in and having it screened in was a plus. Zander was a very responsive host - answering any questions we had ahead of time, as well as during our stay. We'd definitely choose to stay here again in the future!

Convenient location, well stocked

Birthday celebrations for a 10 and 14 yr old. Quiet neighborhood, short drive to everything, restaurants and attractions to explore. Pool was great with screen around to keep the bugs away and they have it cleaned each week. Loved how they provided all toiletries, dish soap/tabs, paper towels, laundry pods, pool towels, beach chairs and small cooler if needed Beds comfortable, decor minimalistic upscale 80s /90s vibe, cute. Nice little sunroom. We were there for gymnastics nationals located about an hour away in Daytona. Our 10yr old qualified for the jr Olympics so it was a very memorable trip for all!

Wedding weekend and first time trip

First time to area did not disappoint. Zander had everything ready for us including the pool along with towels. We had one adult to each bedroom and we all slept good. We did day trips over the bridge into town for the wedding and then was able to eat near the house. Every restaurant we tried had good seafood. We had no trouble with pool or the home. Would love to make it a yearly trip and stay here each time! So much to see and do! Zander was very gracious and attentive, thank you so much

Cozy home

Our family of 6 enjoyed our time here! The host was very communicative and checked in frequently to be sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. The close proximity to both the beach area and downtown St. Augustine was perfect. The property is very much as described. My only recommendation would be to add a few more items in the kitchen. We cooked dinner at home one evening and had some trouble finding pots and pans for everything we were making. Also a toaster would be nice for waffle breakfasts. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Girls Trip

This was great house for a girls trip! You're just over the bridge from downtown St. Augustine, and super close to some amazing restaurants. Make sure to check out the Kenyan Coffee House on that the corner of the main intersection, turning into the house's neighborhood. Mojo's for tacos is amazing, too, for a quick (and causal) bite to eat. The Conch House has amazing for seafood! Overall, the house was nice with comfortable beds. The kitchen has the bare minimum essentials, so if you're looking to stay in and cook, you might need to pick up a few things. There were beach/pool towels provided along with a few beach chairs, small soft cooler, and an umbrella for the beach. (They weren't spectacular, but got the job done!) We packed for the beach and drove over to The Reef restaurant because there's a public beach right in front of the restaurant that's less crowded. Plus, if you eat there you can park in their parking lot. Zander was amazing and great with communication! It was super easy and stress free to stay at his property! We'd stay here again. :)
