It is very well appointed and well stocked with literally everything you could possible need. The host was easy to communicate with and the extra touch of leaving a welcome basket was very much appreciated. My Grand Daughter liked it so much we kept refilling it with her snack packs during our stay (it was just the right height for her to easily grab a pack of goldfish). The location is fantastic and parking in St Augustine can be a real challenge but this home has a very nice sized driveway which also made loading and unloading a breeze. The outdoor area is all screened in and extremely comfortable and welcoming and the house is just beautiful. We were able to walk to many attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The home was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. We enjoyed having a pool, hot tub, and the outdoor area which was fully screened and also comfortably furnished in which to relax, grill, and dine alfresco. Inside, the large living-room and kitchen were great. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking needs. The bedrooms were good-sized and beds were comfortable. We appreciated that the property was pet friendly and accommodated our two small dogs. This home is well appointed, we had everything we needed and more. The updates were tastefully done providing modern conveniences, yet keeping the integrity of a home built in 1887 by Henry Flagler. Our host had the home beautifully decorated for the holidays and provided a "Welcome Suitcase/Basket" for the guest which included 3D glasses that added an extra pizzazz to enjoy the Holiday Lights throughout the community. ##### Beth D. My family & I stayed at this stunning downtown St Augustine historic beauty and had a wonderful time! The house was spacious with a gorgeous kitchen that had everything you needed to feel right at home. The pool and hot tub as well as the patio sitting area is the so serene and relaxing! The beds were very comfortable, very nice linens and towels, beautiful bathrooms and a laundry room to die for, even equipped with a laundry shoot from the master!!! Ample parking in the driveway and steps away from historic downtown St. Augustine. Quiet, peaceful and very safe area with lots of eating and shopping, etc. a short drive away. Pet friendly which was a bonus! On top of this gorgeous home is the absolute BEST owners who are extremely communicative, friendly and very hospitable. We can't say enough great things about this rental & the owners, BJ & Carolyn!! They're simply the BEST & will make your stay truly memorable!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!! ##### Lauren W. My family and I had the privilege of staying at this absolutely stunning house over the 4th of July holiday, we had the BEST time!! This house is unbelievably beautiful with gorgeous curb appeal, amazing location right in the downtown area but still very quiet and peaceful that you sometimes forget that you're in the heart of St. Augustine! The pool and hot tub was a winner for my family! We LOVED the patio area with the TV and cozy lounge area overlooking the gorgeous sparkling pool! The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room are to die for! The whole house is to die for! Lots of upgrades for a home originally built in the late 1800's. We loved the blend of historic meets modern! If the gorgeous house wasn't enough, let me praise the owners of this amazing home! BJ and his wife, Carolyn are by far the best rentals owners we have ever met, hands down! They are the epitome of hospitable, kind, extremely communicative, professional, friendly and caring. Anytime we asked for something or needed something, it was taken care of immediately. If I could give the owners and their home a million stars review, I would. I highly recommend this rental if you're looking for a relaxing, peaceful, fun, walking distance to the most historic and oldest city in the U.S.!!
