Also included with your stay is use of the two large pools, cabana area and a private beach walkway that leads to the white sandy beaches of St Augustine. The Neighborhood: Island Oasis is located right by the beautiful St. Augustine beach where you can step out your door, walk along the private path to the boardwalk and onto the white sandy beach. Take an easy 15 minute stroll to Anastasia Plaza and stock up on everything you need with a huge Publix supermarket, restaurants and even a Starbucks to refuel. The townhouse is nestled on beautiful Anastasia Island that shares the rich and varied history that St. Augustine and its historic district holds. There are many attractions, shops, and restaurants all with a laid back, breezy vibe giving you the ideal place to escape the crowds of the St. Augustine downtown area just 10-15 minutes away. A trademark of Anastasia Island is the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Marine Museum. The lighthouse serves as an educational museum where you can view the many exhibits in the keeper’s house and 3 other historic structures, walk the picturesque grounds, and walk up the 219 steps to the top of the lighthouse for spectacular views – a must see when visiting the island. Visit the picturesque Anastasia State Park that features 4 miles of white quartz sand beaches to relax on with plenty of things to do including bird watching, biking, swimming, fishing, and surfing. You can also rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard and see the park from the water. Getting Around: The best way to get around St. Augustine is with your own car or in a rental with parking for two cars included with your stay. Guests can also use rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft or call a taxi with cars available at all times of the day. Once in the city, many of St. Augustine's shops, restaurants, art galleries and attractions sit within the historic city center, making it easy to get around on foot. The old Town Trolley Tours and a great fun way to see the city with a hop-on, hop-off trolley service that offers stops throughout St. Augustine. The trolley makes 23 stops at or near popular destinations and departs every 15 minutes between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and will set you back around $25 per adult and $10 for kids which includes three days of unlimited rides and complimentary admission to the St. Augustine History Museum. The property is as depicted in the listing / pictures. It is super close to a gorgeous, walkable beach. Just a short jaunt down a sidewalk and boardwalk and you are there. The unit has all the things you might desire for the beach; chairs, towels, toys for the kids and a small cooler. The townhouse was nicely updated, decorated and supplied. We had plenty of room for three adults and our two small Grandkids. The beach boardwalk was conveniently located right in front of the townhouse and an easy short walk to the beach, which was great with small kids. The property manager was very easy to work with and always replied right away with answers to any questions we had. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back! ##### Ronnie W. Could use new beach chairs as one of them was broken. The toilet in the bathroom was running constantly. Could also use some throw blankets for the living room. The main home area was beautifully decorated. The beach access walkaway was right in front of the condo, just a few minutes walk. The Beach was not overcrowed. The Pool was also just a few minutes walk from the condo. You were always able to find a chair. We would stay here again. Only suggestion would be for the master bedroom to maybe have it's own air unit. The master bedroom stayed warmer then most of the house. The bedroom ceiling fan helped. ##### Jennifer A. Short walk to the beach and the little extras like beach chairs, umbrellas are a nice touch. Check in was so easy and keyless entry makes ease of coming and goings. Great location, very short walk to the beach & pool, and a quick drive to downtown St Augustine. Kids had a great time using the provided beach toys (chairs, umbrella and cooler were perfect!). The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals (the InstantPot was a huge bonus). My only complaint was cleanliness, paying a decent amount for a cleaning fee, I would have expected for it to be a bit better. It is also a few minute walk to A1A where there are several restaurants and shops. All of the main attractions in the area such as the lighthouse and Castillo de San Marcos and St George Street are a 10-20 minute drive. It was nice to be able to spend the day out sight-seeing and then once back at the condo relaxing until we were ready to eat and then take a short walk to get dinner. A couple of things to note, there is only 1 TV, and no clocks in the bedrooms. These aren't necessarily issues, just something to be aware of so you can plan accordingly. The owners are very responsive, and If we return for another visit we'll definitely consider staying here again. ##### Chris W.
