Walk to Everything! With over 2000 square feet this 4 bedroom/3.5 bathroom home has everything you need for a fantastic St. Augustine stay. The main house built in 2008 and cottage in 1875 have all of the modern conveniences you desire. The home design includes thoughtful touches throughout including stained glass doors and windows, hardwood floors, granite countertops, shuttered windows and original local artwork throughout. The property is situated in a wonderful walkable neighborhood between the famed Fort Castillo De San Marcos and the beautiful Mission De Nombres. Plus it's a short and pretty walk to all of the historical sites in downtown St. Augustine. Main House: The first floor has an open floor plan overlooking the heated saline pool with LR, Full Kitchen and dining room space for 6-8\. The Living Room has a 50 inch wall hung flat screen TV. Kitchen has full size refrigerator and stove, DW, microwave, coffeemaker and garbage disposal. Second Floor: Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms separated by a hallway, laundry area and Jack and Jill bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has a Queen Size bed, TV, French doors to the upper porch and a large closet. Bedroom 2 has 2 comfy twin beds (or we can combine to make a King). It is also connected to the cottage via a glassed in breezeway but is completely separate and can be closed off by 2 sets of locking doors. Pink Cottage: It's like having another house! It has a full kitchen, open floor Living Space with original art, wall hung TV and Breakfast Bar seating for 3\. There are 2 bedrooms and each has it's own bathroom. Both rooms have Queen Beds and superior memory foam mattresses and linens. The Queen bedroom with tub/shower also has a wall hung TV. Guest Access Wifi, 1 adult bike/helmet and lock, beach umbrella, cooler, gas grill and heated saline pool. Interaction with Guests While we prefer to give guests all of the privacy and space they desire if you need anything at all we have a local team including caretaker on hand and we are only a text or phone call away! The Neighborhood Situated near downtown and all of the action but a truly residential and quiet spot with lots of old trees and breezes from Matanzas Bay. You will see families, retirees and colorful long time residents. Our neighborhood has a nice mix of architecture and home values too. Simple cottages built as servants quarters across the street and million dollar waterfront properties 1 block over. It's a very desirable spot! Getting around You can easily walk to most of the things you will want to see. If you do need help you can take a pedicab, taxi, horse and carriage, Segway or our bikes. We are midway between 2 beaches and you can reach Vilano by car in 4 minutes and Anastasia by car in 6 minutes. Important to Note If you need another rental we have a 4 bedroom house with pool right next door. Listing number 2014500\. No events, gatherings, visitors, pets (unless approved by owner-pet fee applies), smoking, parties, disruptions or other disregard of lease terms can occur or terms of rental are void and immediate eviction will be enforced. Persons other than those specified in the booking are not allowed in/on the property unless approved by us in advance. If you would like to have a visitor please coordinate with us in advance. Please let us know who, when and for how long you expect your guest. Parking will also need to be coordinated as we have limited space. Please keep doors closed at all times...it's FL so we don't want lizards, bugs or snakes wandering in. Note: to avoid damaging the pool heater the pool may not be heated during periods when the air temps are consistently below 55 degrees. External security cameras in use. This is for your protection and protection of the property. Video recordings occur incrementally. Video are routinely deleted by the system and would only be shared with law enforcement as needed. External cameras overlook the parking area and the front porch of the Cottage including a portion of the pool. CANCELLATION or EARLY DEPARTURE – There are NO REFUNDS for CANCELLATION OR EARLY DEPARTURES EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN. If a Guest requests a cancellation 60 DAYS or more before check-in, Owner will make a “best effort” to re-rent the property. If the Owner is able to successfully re-rent the reserved period, the Owner will refund the total rental payment less a $100 servicing fee. Guest may obtain a “Cancel for Any Reason” policy through a third party. Guest ASSUMES THE RISK. This property is licensed with the City of St. Augustine, St. Johns County and state of Florida for vacation rentals. This location was within walking distance to downtown and so super cute. The entire stay was perfect. From the booking, to the check in process, to the detailed book for guest, to check out. The location is great, short walk to downtown. Very beautiful quiet neighborhood. The home was perfect. We were 6 ladies celebrating my daughter’s upcoming wedding. Pauline provides great amenities. From laundry detergent to body wash. She was very attentive to any questions I had. It’s nice to have a rental that provides your basic everyday needs. We did Instacart for groceries. The houses were the prefect set up for our family. Houses were clean, fully stocked kitchens, pool floats, towels, etc. Location is great! Within walking distance of main attractions. Clean and spacious and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The kindness home owners who respond quickly to any questions you may have . The location is perfect !! This was a perfect place for our family to stay. My son, his wife, and their baby stayed in the main house. My other adult son, my husband and I stayed in the cottage. We had a wonderful time. The place was very clean and had everything we could ever need. We made coffee every morning, did a puzzle, and played some games (all provided). It is a 10-20 minute walk to all the tours we did near St. George Street. Great location. Communication was great with the property owner. Very friendly. We couldn’t have had a better stay. We had a great visit with our friends. The only issues were small. Several lamps didn’t work. A check of them all would be good. The pocket door on the second cottage bedroom was broken.
