There is a short walk to the beach. The instructions were for keyless entry, but it was actually a lock box that contained a key. This caused some confusion for me but it was remedied quickly by a neighbor and a call from my contact person. Everything worked and it was clean. I have rented through VRBO many times and this unit did not equal the quality of my other rentals by any means. The complex as a whole was an older construction and just looked tired. The grounds were well kept but the pool was green.
