The Flagler Cottage boasts the splendor of a quiet house, nice amounts of stylish space, a large yard, off-street parking, proximity to Flagler College, and just a hop to the beach. This is undoubtedly the nicest, most classic and cutest house in downtown St Augustine. The Space: Make your way up the charming front steps and step inside this warm and welcoming cottage where you’ll be surrounded by gorgeous heritage features and classic workmanship that sets this home apart. Make your way into the bright, open living space and relax on the plush sofas where you can stream complimentary Netflix on the big screen smart TV. The galley style kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need right at your fingertips. There is a fridge/freezer, a freestanding oven and cooktop, a built in microwave, a coffee machine and a dishwasher to handle all the cleaning up. Eat together within the elegant dining area or if you don’t feel like cooking, simply step out the front door and be surrounded by delicious restaurants, charming cafes and sweet smelling bakeries. Off the kitchen is the sun-filled sitting room surrounded by gorgeous windows and filled with a sofa, a second TV and a little laundry nook. From here you can step out onto the rear patio and soak up the sun while overlooking the yard. There are three spacious bedrooms within the cottage that feature comfortable beds topped in quality linen, Smart TVs and plenty of space to unpack and make yourself at home. The master features a beautiful canopy queen bed and its own private sitting area with relaxing rocking chairs and a workspace with free WiFi to keep you connected. Bedroom two also features a queen bed while bedroom three is upstairs and offers two twin beds making it perfect for families or for teens wanting their own space. The downstairs bathroom features a relaxing jetted tub with an overhead shower and pedestal vanity while the upstairs bathroom offers a bath, shower and plenty of soft fluffy towels for each guest. Brew up a pot of fresh coffee each morning and sit out on the front patio as you watch the world go by, then leave your car parked and wander the charming streets of downtown meandering through the historic leafy streets, stopping in for delicious bites, and enjoying the great nightlife after dark. So for a truly unbeatable location in a gorgeous, heritage cottage where you live like a true local, look no further for your next visit to the oldest city – we can’t wait to host you! Guest Access: We have plenty of off street parking with places for 4+ cars. And you are a half block from all the action. The Neighborhood: You will never find somewhere as close to the action in St. Augustine, as well as secluded and quiet, because we are on a closed driveway with just a few other homes. We hope you enjoy but ask you to be respectful of our wonderful neighbors. Other Things to Note: PET POLICY: We can accommodate 1 dog under 50 lbs at the home (some exceptions are allowed, please ask). The dog must be up to date on vaccinations and fully potty trained/kenneled. No puppies under 1 year. Pet must be added to the reservation PRIOR to check in and $150 nonrefundable pet fee will be included (guests are still responsible for any damages the pet may cause during their stay) SECURITY CAMERA: There is an active ring video doorbell installed at the front door monitoring the front porch and entrance. Truly steps from all the action, but tucked away and quiet so when you decide to retire for the evening, you can kick your feet up by the fire pit and relax and leave all the noise behind. Plenty of parking very comfortable and a great front porch for a rainy day. ##### Michael B. We stayed for the Labor Day weekend and found the accommodations to be great. The beds were comfortable. The sheets were soft and there were plenty of pillows. Each room had a TV that was set up for all streaming services and some free TV. The location was absolutely perfect. It was steps to the historic district but was quiet and tucked away on a dead end street with a great front porch just for sitting. Plenty of parking, Will definitely visit again and stay at the same home. WONDERFUL. ##### Rita S. Perfectly maintained. Set back off the street in a romantic gardenlike setting with old growth spanish oak trees draped in spanish moss. Location is literally half a block from the historic distric and Flagler college. You can park your car and never have to drive anywhere! It's like being in Europe! Amazing. park ##### tim l. The location was AMAZING. We parked the car when we arrived and walked to everything all weekend. The beds were comfy and everything was super clean. Not to mention the house is adorable, I wanted to move in permanently at the end of the trip. Plenty of parking and towels and kitchen supplies. I will never stay anywhere else in St Augustine. The hosts were very nice through the welcome emails and even sent an email to check in part way through the trip. ##### Kate H. The location could not be beat! We were able to walk to restaurants, attractions and the event venue. The house is a craftsman cottage that is beautifully appointed. The common areas are spacious and there’s even room to get away for some quiet time or work. Not a problem for us, but be aware that the upstairs bedroom is two twins and that the room and the second bathroom are accessible by a narrow spiral staircase. Some guests may want to consider that. The house is on a very quiet alley and we enjoyed the porch too. ##### Janice D. Our stay at Flagler Cottage was overall one of the best experiences we have encountered in our years of renting houses. Daniel and Andrea communicated effectively throughout the process and the property exceeded the description on VRBO, -- Which is hardly ever the case. Cleaner and more comfortable than what we normally encounter. Loved the fact that the cottage sits down a private drive with ample parking and was quiet and peaceful. We could walk to great sights, restaurants, and shops easily and quickly - like 8 to 10 min. Thanks, Daniel and Andrea, for the wonderful week's stay. I don’t think you can find a place that’s much closer to the historic area. The owners were very quick to respond to all questions and very nice. The house is as described and was comfortable to stay in. It was clean and nicely decorated. We didn’t use the twin beds upstairs but had to use the 2nd bathroom up there. It was fine for us, but might be hard for older persons who don’t do stairs very well anymore. But, the 2 Queen bedrooms downstairs were nice and the beds comfortable. ##### Tracy H.
