Walk to the Beach! Prepared to be blown away by our Tropical Winds Beach Retreat! This 3 bedroom, 2 bath, beach cottage with a heated pool was recently constructed in 2021\. With all new appliances and beautiful beach décor you will feel right at home in our beach paradise. Home also offers a large and spacious fenced in backyard. Located only a short walk to the beach with vehicular beach access right down the road. After a long day at the beach, cool off in your private pool or watch the sunset on the front porch. The master bedroom offers a king size bed with a private bathroom, bedrooms 2 and 3 offer queen size beds and a shared bath. The wind house offers high speed internet and smart TVs to keep you connected. Plenty of parking available to accommodate the whole family. If you have a large family and need a second location please inquire with the host about the sister property, The Tidal Paradise Beach Retreat, located right next door. The history of St. Augustine is incomparable with almost any other on our coast. Founded in 1565 it is chock full of amazing places to visit, from the oldest house to the first schoolroom, to the impenetrable fort built by the Spanish. Lincolnville, just south of downtown St. Augustine takes you on a walking tour of the history of the civil rights movement noting where Martin Luther King stayed on numerous occasions. Needless to say, there’s also so many unique shops, and the restaurants are so varied and truly have an international flavor! There are things to do no matter the weather! You can take a free boat ride to Fort Matanzas and learn the history about the battles fought. Further south is Marineland where you can swim with dolphins! The St. Augustine and St Johns County area have a great variety of golf courses for players of every level and skill. There are always concerts at St. Augustine Amphitheatre and events at Francis Field as well. You will never run out of things to do here in St. Augustine. It is probably one of the most beautiful places in all of Florida, and for sure one of the most photographed! Come and see for yourself! Pets and Service Animals: You must let us know if you are bringing an animal to the home, even if it is a service animal! It's important to let the cleaners know. Up to 2 dogs are allowed with a nonrefundable pet fee. They must be less than 50lbs each and no aggressive breeds. NO CATS! Please do not allow your dogs to jump up onto the beds or couches. If the dogs are accustomed to being allowed on the furniture at home, please bring blankets to protect the surfaces. If you forget to bring blankets, let us know and we will provide you with some. If you bring a pet and do not tell us or pay the fee, we will charge your damage deposit for the pet fee plus $100 for the unexpected extra services required to clean the house. All beds will be freshly made with the exception of the sofa bed. You will find the linens for it in the master closet. The pool heater thermostat is set to a temperature between 78 and 85 degrees F, depending on the time of the year. If the daytime air temp doesn't get above 58 degrees the pool will have a difficult time staying heated. The cleaning company provides a limited amount of basic necessities (toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher/laundry soap, etc.) to get you started, you will want to bring some with you. Garbage and recycling must be taken out to the street Sunday night for Monday morning pickup. We don't offer refunds or reschedule stays during hurricane season, even if there is an evacuation order. Everything worked and the house was clean and as advertised. The pool, fire pit and grill were great. The location is perfect…8-10 min walk to beach or drive on and haul all your stuff. Arrived at a very nice house that was clean and well kept. It is located in a neighborhood that is well kept and we had a couple neighbors say hello and welcome us. We felt very safe there. The inside of the house was clean and well stocked with kitchen and bathroom essentials that we would need to be comfortable. Furniture was nice and plenty of seating for large groups. The pool was clean and well serviced. I would definitely recommend staying here. ##### Nancy M. In a quiet neighborhood, close to all essentials, especially the beach. We enjoyed the pool majority of our stay since the beach was so windy. Only problem was the pool itself didn't get as “heated” as we thought. All and all, this place has everything you need to have a perfect stay. Could ride bikes there. Drivable beach access as well as beach parking minutes away. Great pool. Covered porch with ceiling fan gave nice break from sun and heat and rain storms! Property was clean and comfortable. The primary bed was better than mine at home. Property manager was really friendly and super responsive. ##### amie b. Our family enjoyed this sweet space! The location was fantastic! Far enough from the chaos of the more crowded areas but still close and convenient to everything - we couldn't believe how perfect the location was! The house itself is set up very nice, well stocked and felt like home away from home for all of us! The pool was a welcome space to lounge at, as are the front and back deck areas. We were pleasantly surprised that the house was like the photos but BETTER. We fell in love with it. We were 7 people and we were ALL VERY comfy and relaxed. I have rented many houses at the beach and this was the best maintained one I have ever stayed at. I am comparing this rental to rentals in the 10's of thousands for the week. WAY WORTH IT. Loved where the property is located. Easy walk to beach. Nice clean and quiet neighborhood. Easy drive or bike ride to many places. The yard is fenced in. The backyard is fully fenced and private, and the pool is lovely. Our hosts, David & Patty were terrific and responded immediately to our questions/ issues. We were so impressed with this house. The pictures ane the exact same as the house. It was the perfect size for our group. Being from Chicago this was the first time our dog got to have a real backyard and he had as much fun as we did. More than anything the location was the best. Butler Beach was about a 10 minute walk and the prettiest beach we went to. The entire neighborhood was beautiful. I would highly recommend staying here for your beach vacation and we can’t wait to come back! ##### Danielle W.
